- In this tutorial we are going to start a course to learn to draw from scratch, step by step. Today we are going to learn how to draw a tree, with a normal HB pencil and photocopy paper or whatever white paper you have at home. To start the course, we are not going to use artistic materials, and little by little, chapter by chapter, we will advance until we learn to draw. We start?

Thanks for these lucid and easily implementable instructions on drawing a realistic tree! I am quite happy with what manifested from my first attempt to replicate what was shown in the video.
My tree didn't turn out very good but I had fun and am excited to try it again! Thank you for keeping it simple. I've watched other videos that seemed way more difficult and used all kinds of different pencils. I only have regular paper and a #2 pencil!

Thank you for your drawing lessons. I find them enjoyable and interesting subjects. I also like the slow versions but with the more time consuming drawings that are speed up I just stop the video and take my time.

Thank you very much. Yes, slower like this is very easy to follow and allow for practice until the next video. Thank you very much! Gaining control of the pencil is the most difficult. How to hold it for the effect wanted.
Indeed, controlling the pencil is one of the most difficult parts. Many, many years ago, a teacher told me something that helped me a lot: You have to hold the pencil like a baby, firm enough so that it does not fall, but smooth so as not to hurt it. thanks for watching!
