Learning moment for Kairam to better his game and other interviewers.
I can’t help but notice you’re a butthurt kairam’s wannabe critic. I might be wrong but most of them here would see it. What’s going on Mate? Kairam has never been impartial as long as I can remember. He’s very aware of every word he speaks. I’m guessing you’re either a heartbroken wannable film maker or like I earlier stated you’re just a Karen.

Kairam’s interviews with raj, Rishabh and Rakshit are so good that I feel so lucky that I know Kannada. I feel sad at the same time for people that don’t know Kannada. Wish these could be subtitled and shared with the larger world. How beautiful their thoughts are.

Rishab Shetty, many pranams to you from a north Indian. I watched Kantara yesterday in Kannada with English subtitles, and man, what a ride it was. Blown away. Please make more pan indian movies as we need more from your directoral and acting brilliance. Beautiful. What a perfect movie which entwines the heavens and earth together in its spirituality. Truly hyontised. Kudos.
When Kairam vashi interviews... He make sure it will be treat and great teaching class to film makers with the so much of knowledgeable questions and he makes sure no drop is left in the lemon.... He squeezes to the core....

The beauty of watching this interview is that rishab sir has not changed much to his last interview with the same person. Literally he repeated so many points and that shows how much grounded he is❤, as he had said he wouldn't change he hasn't. our prides💕🤗
When 2 Legends discuss....it's a treat to watch them and where Time is independent....even 50 minutes seems like 5 minutes and feels like 50 minutes worth

I’m sorry. With due respect, Kairam is yet to accomplish or earn something relevant in the industry to be termed as a legend. Many consider the term “legend” seriously. I’m one such person. Maybe I’m not aware of Shri Kairam’s accomplishments for Kannada or Karnataka or India.

Amazing interview, Rishab Shetty spoke about how Indian culture is so intertwined in religion. Kannada cinema is trying to bring in culture in cinema. This is resulting in cinema getting new and different stories at the same time the culture is showcased to more people.
Good to see Kannada film makers wanted to spread the culture and traditions and customs and their religious connection. But, sadly in Tamil film industry any film or story involving religious context especially Hindu customs tradition is treated as a taboo and hardly any film maker takes that up. Even if they do, they are being ridiculed.
I loved Kantara for its making and the folklore concept/belief. The final act given me goosebumps in a divine manner. That was because the way the lead actor did it with conviction, people were almost spell bound in those last 15 minutes. Congratulations and big thanks to Rishab and his crew for bringing out a story very rooted to the Tulunad culture and belief. As you mentioned, there are lot of such stories to tell, this film winning the hearts of people will give inspiration and confidence to you to bring out more such movies. All the best.
Kairam I think you should explore Bangalore & it’s culture.. if you haven’t seen then you shouldn’t tell there is no old culture in Bangalore.. Rishab answered very neatly ❤️ Old Bangalore people & their kids will be knowing the culture. People of Bangalore should explore other things than karga & kallekaayparshe.

@@muraliUdupi I was a bit surprised about the question after seeing Kantara teaser and visuals and it’s backdrop. As a interviewer I probably expected more from Kairam. We all have our limitations. Also, notice at 27:17 Kairam’s statement about Dakshina Kannada and not having such rich culture locally (Bengaluru) Rishab explains about karaga. Seriously, I probably overestimated Kairam. Am so glad we have a director like Rishab, Raj and Rakshith who love Kannada, Karnataka and our culture. They will be the pride of India sooner or later. Lot to learn from them.
Two legends together
Rishab is a living legend. Kairam didn’t review The Kashmir Files. The opening statement of this video is Om yaake? Kairam is talented but has his own weaknesses and insecurities. Definitely not comparable to Rishab. Let’s see what he does for Kannada or Karnataka or India and then call him a legend. Don’t jump the gun.

Yes Karnataka is rich in all art, culture, tradition, nature.. Daiva - spirit/soul that have powers and they will protect ur family/village. That is connected to ur believe system. I have heard that it will be expensive to do that but u should do it if ur wish gets fullfill.
One of the excellent movie that I watched after long time and this is my first ever comment in social media! Could not stop expressing my excitement! Movie was very fulfilling with ultimate songs & music which was very well suited to the movie. The lyrics was competing with Chi. Udayashankar's level. I was amazed and wondered how talented this young star Rishab is! Outstanding acting! He beautifully carved this story without commercial touch, maintained the nativity, portraying our rich culture and symbolically brought the strong sense of divinity in the nature. Wish him many more success! Kudos buddy:)

Kantara apart film, it should be an strong document in supporting the inclusion of Tulu language in 8th Schedule of constitution, would lead to Tulu getting recognition from Sahitya Akademi which would only help the cause of Tulu language. Humble request 🙏🏻

Kairam, trust me you are the best Movie Critic!! Critic might not be the right word but hope you understand what I mean!! The lens wid which you see every bit of the screen & the organic thought process behind the story/screenplay is no match! I believe, producers should reveal the first copy to you before hitting the censor board so that they can tweek their film to hit the perfect cord !!
Probably many things may miss out Between script on paper to the execution but that's how life is at the end of the day! Many of us strive for that perfect perfection but many a times may not achieve Perfect Sweet spot!
Rishabh Rakshit, Hemant, Raj & Uppi sir are one of their kind Movie makers who are extremely extremely honest to the Concept Of Movie Making!! 🫡🫡🫡🫡

I have only one complaint, why Rishab Shetty didn't release in dubbed versions in other languages. It would've been a roaring success in Pan India. Most of the non kannada people can't watch it with subtitles only.
