That Guild Starfire bass Thom has is extra cool. If it's vintage rather than custom made, extra credit for throwing a sticker on it. Dang that's gorgeous.
This album is jam packed with wild ideas. Easily the most rewarding front to back listen for me since In Rainbows. Really stoked that they’re not just a one off. The new songs are amazing. Been a fan for 30 years too. This isn’t an album to be missed.
I wish people would just shut up during performances. Imagine being at a movie theater that allowed viewers to plaster the screen with emojis every time they liked what was on the screen.

Before i've heard the album i've seen and listened to pieces of some of the more "entertaining" rock/pop songs from it, and... that's not the part i like the most about Thom's music, so i didn't expect to find something like Tomorrow's Modern Boxes, Anima or even Radiohead, but something more like Amok. When i finally started the album and this song began and progressed i felt so immersed and happy and sad... the same as Radiohead makes me feel. I was so glad to remember that these Radiohead members are always gonna do their unique and special thing that feels so deep. And still they keep evolving (for better, i think). This and A Hairdryer blew my... hair? My 2 favorite songs of the album.

It must suck to be a 20 year old musician trying to search for unique cutting edge sounds, and then finding out some 50-somethings sound way more progressive than you....then finally out after that it was the composer's 500th song or so....that he spotted you his first 499 song ideas and his 500th at age 53 is more dope than your 1st at age 20. lol.
The audience is so still... it's always weird to me to see the audience not moving. Are they packed in too tightly? People need room to move, man. Pleeease Let the music literally groove your physical vessel, good people. Great song (upside down frown) ⇡⇡⇡⇡⇡

Thom's singing is off, the effects are too loud, while the instrumentation is too bare-bones. This is clearly a hard cut to perform live, and I can't say they pulled it off here.
