I have a series 5 watch and a pair of powerbeats bluetooth, why does it cut out when i go a certain distance? do i need my phone with me so it doesn’t cut out?
Jan Piet i havent been able to do that. I think apple just made apple music available for the apple watch so that everyone who has an apple watch woild subscribe to their apple music

It is possible to stream music from Music directly from the Apple Watch (Wifi) into the Airpods, with the iPhone nearby? What I mean is, can the Apple watch bypass the iPhone? or maybe what I mean is possible to stream music, from iPhone (in outdoors, using cellular data) into the watch and then into the AirPods? Why? it is because I like to run using the Nike Run Club app, using the "guided runs" which allows hearing a virtual coach from the Apple watch into the AirPods while simultaneously you can listen to music downloaded to the Apple Watch...by streaming music form Music>iPhone>Apple Watch>Airpods, I would not necessarily have to download music into the watch beforehand... It would save me some time
The iPod was the best to listen to music but Apple Music does not work on it. Why not have the Digital Crown control the volume in the music app. The is clearly something that has been missed, no volume control on the AirPods either.

I’m really struggling with trying to determine if the loaded music is on my iPhone or the watch (stand alone). When running without iPhone, I often get message that I’m out of range. What am I doing wrong?
@@Otherdave008 Thanks for your reply! My understanding is that if the music is transferred successfully to the watch's storage, I wouldn't need my iPhone when running, even though I do have the GPS model.
I agree. They seem to be downloaded in the watch but when I played it played on my phone and not from the watch, even though I’ve already had my Bluetooth headphones connected to the watch.

Yep! You can download it to the phone and if the watch is setup to mirror iPhone’s podcast settings it should transfer when connected to power

I don't have the watch, but a guess would be that you have the GPS only model and not cellular? So you actually still need your phone with you.
