  • Hello everyone! Welcome to our tutorial on operating the OPTOSKY ATG1020 visible near-infrared light source. Our instrument includes two different kinds of bulb lights: halogen light lamp and deuterium lamp.
The deuterium lamp, featuring a Hamamatsu bulb, produces a stable 180-400nm output spectrum. The halogen light lamp, using Osram's long-life, high-stability bulbs, has a lifespan of up to 5000 hours.
Both light sources share the same output port and are controlled by a single power button. Here's a quick overview:
Power button for the light sources
12-volt power interface and cooling fan
Plug in the power cord and activate the light sources
Connect the spectrometer and open the software
    To demonstrate:
Turn on the halogen light lamp and click Continuous Acquisition.
    View the resulting spectrum.
Turn on the deuterium light and view its spectrum data.
The ATG1020 is suitable for smart agriculture, industrial applications, environmental product lines, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry & ecology, pharmaceutical engineering, and food and drug safety.
Stay tuned to see the detailed operation and resulting spectrum data from each light source. Let's get started!
