Hi Tevz, on your led driver circuit, is there a way you can reduce the current since at 300mA the LED's run hot and they might not last long. I like to drive them at 220mA.
change the resitor at pin 3 to ground. example 1 ohm change it ti 2.2 ohms.

Hola Amigo, tus vídeos son fantásticos informativos y precisos, pero no comprendo bien el ingles y este vídeo no tiene subtitulos. puedes hacer un video en donde hagas un cambio de lamparas ccfl a led en un TV LCD, ya que las lamparas no se consiguen y el consumo leds es bastante inferior. gracias por leerme un abrazo Amigo.

I cannot thank you enough as I have followed your video carefully to reveal my LCD lamps ( my set is identical to yours). I have black marks sadly on the lamps. Can i clean them with sandpaper? I guess not but any advice would be great.☺

One lamp glows an orange colour which i guess is the issue. I just need a replacement Lamp which is easier said than done!

Tevz you sound like a robot! How did you determine the number of LEDs to use?
I use a windows narrator so the voice sounds like a robot. I use 3 volts LED in series in this video equal to 45 volts, The inverter that I use is a constant current sensing. The voltage out is 18 volts to 120 volts 300mA. It can drive up to 40 LED in series.

I want to know what type of LED's you have fitted. what is their identification number. What are their voltage and current ratings? Where do you get them what brand are they. I assume they must produce a pure white output.
The LED is a concave lens, I fitted 15 pieces 3v equal to 45 volts. The ampere is about 300 milliamps. You can buy it online. Concave lens 3 volts factory cut LED pure white.
Hi Tevz can you confirm the fault originally was set switching off after about 5 seconds like mine. Any thoughts about tgat inverter on ebay to purchase. please advise
Disable the BL error by connecting it to the ground.
@@tevzTVTevatronics Hi Tevz i have disabled 1st 2 pins connected to the inverter board and although it stops the blinks the lamps still turn off. Also disabling pin 3 is the BL error does the same. If i don't disable those pins the lamps go off and come on then off again. I keep checking the power supply but really not sure😑
@@walker55able Keep trying. Try also the BL error instead of connecting to the ground. Connect it to 5 volts.

28 is enough, 7 led in 4 raws. Don’t those CCFLs have potentially mercury coated on them (not just gas)? Meaning dangerous to touch? Any symptoms of mercury poisoning since this video?
Its not causing poisoning until you break it.

Mayroon akong screen ng sony bravia para palitan ang mga ccfl asia led lamp. Ngunit kapag inilagay ko ang video, naka-off ang screen at ang power bulb na lang ang nananatiling naka-on
Disable mo yung bl protection. Nakikita yan sa mga wire pa punta sa dati niyang inveter, i connect mo yung bl protect sa ground.

you should have shown the brightness control
The tv is using PWM to adjust the brightness of the CCFL inverter. STRW6053 doesn't have a PWM function to adjust the voltage output level. So there is no brightness or adjust of the LED level.
Led strips must be on metal surface because they transfer heating
