I'm always happy when Yates wins. He's always doing so much work for his teammates--particularly what's his name... um... that Tadej guy. I think, honestly, that's why Pogacar and Jonas aren't riding the Vuelta this year... because they don't want to be be greedy... they want to give their (often amazing) teammates opportunities to shine--and to win. And that's classy. Congrats to Adam and Richard for their incredible performances. Cycling is boring when the same guys will all the time. There are so many exception riders in the men's peloton today.
Agree 100% - but a spoiler alert would have been nice. Just for next time. :) Unfortunately, in some countries we can’t watch the Vuelta live since Eurosport stopped their offer & Discovery+ is not available. Therefore all the excitement of watching a race is hanging on these Highlights/Last KM videos. :)
I had my doubts but the GC group played it really smart overall. Didn't look like Roglic had it in him today to attack O'Connor anyway, and they caught Mas and Gaudu in the end.
these commentators are so much better than the NBC Peacock mob. They could slot right in for Phil and Bob. For tactics and insight they should bring back Chris H. Time for change.

New to watching cycling. Why are the names of the riders and teams not visible on the shirts? Do they expect me to know all the teams by shirt and know all the riders by appearance?
As predicted best grand tour of the decade every stage is moutains or hilly, GC breaways is the top in cycling, many conteders, many GC changes coming up every stage, Kuss out of the top 10. Top 15 are all in the GC race. No ome can be top for every stage
Not even close to crazy, he came third in the tour in 2023 while helping Tadej, his only competition is Roglic who isn’t nearly as good on long steep slopes like Yates is.
He made up lost time today plus a small cushion but their are two more big mountain days to come so he has to be consistent which has always been his one weakness
when i see a tittle blockbuster i just think of the bullshit hollywood movies with no brain but making hundreds of millions of dollars in the world. What an awfull world....

Well done Adam. I lost it for Carapaz a few years ago when he was neck and neck with Pogacar in the mountains and he point blank refused to help.
For me AY and RC are very similar riders. In that they always give their all when racing. Be great though if BO won this Vuelta.
