I've been watching your videos for a couple of months now, and you are now my most trusted source for automotive LED lighting. I greatly appreciate your comparison of 4D vs. 5D LED bars you did back in December 2015 - that was quite a surprise to see such a big difference between the two generations. It was that video that prompted me to not pull the trigger on a 4D Auxbeam when they put their 4D bars on 15% discount last week. I've been searching for quite awhile for the perfect setup.
My needs are a little different though. I needed a light bar with both decent flood capabilities, but more importantly, 100 yard minimum throw for my shark fishing platform on top of my cargo trailer.
With this bad boy, I'll be able to light up both the shoreline and kayakers running bait out past the 3rd breakers.
It always gets a bit scary trying to keep an eye on the with just handheld spots.
Now all I gotta do is figure out how not to drain my batteries when running these. Would love an extra battery bank, but it's looking like converter and generator will be needed.

With the wireing harness the red light is on even after i turned my truck off does that mean that my battery will be drained? Or do i have to take the fuse out everytime i shut the truck off?

I bought a 52 inch X series for my Jeep XJ but cant find mounting brackets to mount to my A pillars, I can only find brackets to suit a 50 inch :/ Any idea where I can get some?

HI I bought one from amazon by autofeel but the style looks different than yours...also I have a ram 1500 , 2009 4.7 motor do you know of any mounts that will work with this light. Because the mounts that come with it requires you to drill holes on top of the roof.
Is it gonna be good for my fishing boat?
OSRAM recommend if you have good lighting osram bar 5D?

The only way you will ever see a Rigid light in one of my videos is if they send me one for free or sell me one for the same price as I can buy an Auxbeam, Autofeel, Etc. I would love to compare them to see why they cost 10 times as much but I cant afford nor would I want to spend that much on a light bar....

Question what was the distance from bracket to bracket was looking for some specific details on measurements. I am looking for a light bar to put on my tractor canopy but only have 47" to work with. Was thinking with the curve the bracket distance might be within rang if I turned them inward.
Never mind found some specs 52" even with the curve and 54" with the mounts turned out. ;) So I guess I will try the 42 on front and back. ;)
Did you use the stock harness?
Can you recommend a light bar that also can flash?
jeff crutchett hook it up to your high beam and you can use the flasher.

That breather port, does that operate automatically upon pressure, or do i need to open it periodically \ based on usage...?
Jaymoe69 It is automatic... it is a one way valve that allows pressure to escape when the light bar heats up but keeps out water, mud, dust etc.

I'd say I like them both about the same. I've had a lot more experience with Auxbeam and so they have always been my go to brand but this Autofeel is pretty nice too so I wouldn't have a problem buying either one or recommending either one to a friend....
Is there any noise from these at highway speeds? I had to mod my roof rack because of a hum
Oh yeah! when I put the 52 incher on my tahoe it wailed like a banshee at highway speeds. I put some permatex "right stuff" in a few spots in between the lower cooling fins to stop the noise.
would that make it over heat?
+john jones No not at all, I only put a couple dabs in a couple spots across the bottom row of the fins. The problem is the wind rushing up the windshield blows across the bottom cooling fins and causes it to vibrate/resonate at a high frequency that makes the whining noise, just like a tuning fork, and a couple dabs of silicon is all it takes to stop that vibration. I have a hard time explaining things in text, I actually thought about making a video to show how easy it is to fix the infamous light bar noise problem but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

k so i finally got a light bar for my truck and now i see this and wonder are you going to start testing these like your other videos? i mean dunk test road test drop, hit and such tests???
I doubt I'll be doing any torturing on their lights, I mean sure, I would if they asked me to, but this is the first video I've ever made for Autofeel so probably no big torture test series in the near future. haha
Well they should allow you to do some as you do great in your videos and not only that your videos are making the rounds in the forums on Toyota sights at least as I have been sharing them a bit to show how good they are, now I own 6 auxbeam lights and just got my 7th last week,now if it would stay clear and warm ID get them all hooked up..no garage:( mother nature controls my time outside working on my truck well the wife also lol

I live close to lake erie so we get some pretty lousy weather all winter and it just now starting to warm up a little so I can work on my mud truck outdoors. But now that it's warming up a bit of course it's going to be raining non stop for a month! Luckily I can use the shop where I work for a lot of the work I do on my vehicles but when it comes to mud trucks and whatnot I'm stuck working out in my yard, the boss isn't a big fan of trucks/RZRs etc. dropping mud all over the shop! haha.

Ok, i'm looking for a 50" straight bar. What would you recommend I buy? (I live in canada so need something that will ship here) Also, whats the point of curved bars? A curved youre wasting light like your headlights flood the ditch enough where straight ahead light is the only light you need. Also its not like straights will have 0 flood. So whats the big deal with them?
It makes the center spot not quite so overpowering... If you LEDs put out a 20 degree spot, and you have 20 degrees of arc in the lightbar, it makes the hotspot more like a 40 degree horizontal while keeping only 20 degree vertical.

*Beware* This seller is giving fake reviews on Amazon. You always have to look at the end of reviews when they say (I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.) It usually means that person hated the item and of course the seller gave them a discount to put a fake review. I hope they didn't tell you to make a bogus review in exchange for a free light bar. You seem to give honest reviews.
Hey Nate, yes I did get this light bar sent to me to review but like I said in my videos nobody buys my opinions. I wouldn't make a video saying I liked something if that wasn't the truth. In fact I had a company email me about a month ago asking me to check out their light bars and after reading all of the terrible reviews on amazon I decided to pass on their lights because I don't want to show junk products in my videos. I actually do like this light bar and do plan to install it on my truck. In fact I'm going to get another autofeel light bar for my RZR and do a video on that sometime soon. But yeah I do agree with you, I get nervous about an amazon review when I see that at the end, but a lot of times the reviews really are legit, companies are just learning that the best way to advertise their products is with media such as youtube and it's worth it to them to hand out some discounted products in exchange for people's honest reviews. I have read reviews where people say they hated a product and still say they "received it in exchange for an honest review" so you know not everyone who is a reviewer is a liar. I don't lie to my viewers because I want people like you to keep coming back to my channel so I can keep getting views, if I lie to people I would be sabotaging myself and my channel. Hope that helps
Yeah I always knew you give your honest opinion like you just said, I think this seller is just giving people discounts for giving good reviews in the first place maybe so they can get to selling these faster. I do think I will one to replace my plain 32inch light bar that only has 3w and no fish eye lens in each LED, and not 5D. They only sell curved so I'm going to look for a straight one since I have it on my brush guard. I would love to get one above my windshield but not wanting to drill holes and risk a leak or have it stolen by some scum bag. Wish I could see these lights in person cause like you said the camera does no justice, didn't know they had these lights till you reviewed it.
