This is what spurs should always be doing, buying players that are about to blow up or picking up under valued players from big teams.
I remember spurs being linked with Kim and Kvaratskelia one or two years ago, and both the club and the fans holding out for Bastoni and Dybala, because everyone thought that buying from Georgia and or Turkey was not pushing on and aiming upwards.
Our best buisness over the last 2 years was a deal for 2 players that Juve was desperate to offload, and they are two of our best players today, because Juve didn't know what they had.
Even then alot of spurs fans were annoyed that we were buying cast off from others.

Vicario's decision to take in a Ukranian Mother and her young son after the start of the war is something really commendable. In terms of the players who will join us for our rebuild, the character and personality is as important as the quality. To have a strong group, we need top players who are also good men with good values. He fits this profile really nicely.

I think most spurs supporters would rather have gone with the premier league proven, ready to go Raya - I think I would have to be honest. But if saving £20M allows us to buy better players in other positions whilst achieving a better long term option, then we just have to back the guy - from your video I think we can guarantee the guy brings 110% commitment !

Not to be a downer, but in your last vid you kind of disregarded Vicario as a less optimal choice. What’s changed?
I was looking at the % of passes completed trying to understand who was the best ball playing GK.
However I did add context making the video and i understood that the numbers are the result of the style of play, not of his technical ability.
I have a lot less doubt on the ba now, and as a keeper he's obviously a very talented one.
U could put Emerson in empoli and stats would show his passing stats not great.... its tactics and if coach don't want to play out from back then gk passing stats will reflect this

This keeper looks dodgy.. he never catches the ball, always punches it away even if there’s no danger and he uses his feet more than his hands.. hope I’m wrong but this might turn out to be a disaster
I can tell you that you just watched a compilation of his best saves.
A lot of the are off tough shots, which are for definition tough to catch.
Trust me the shots he can catch he will, that's not a weakness
