Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company (KCDC), one of the leading dance companies in the world, is identified with the work of acclaimed Artistic Director Rami Be’er whose exclusive and unique choreographic character has become the company’s trademark both in Israel and abroad. The company performs regularly in some of the most respected theaters and festivals worldwide.
The company’s base in the ‘Oasis in the Galilee’ at the International Dance Village in the historic Western Galilee of northern Israel is also home to its main company, its second company (KCDC 2), the 5-month international Dance Journey study abroad dance program and the annual 2-week, 4-week, and 6-week Kibbutz Summer Intensive in Israel for high school and university age dance students from across the world.
