Stupid happened to be in the foxhole next to me in BRM an almost blew my kneecap off when he decided to break down his misfiring M16- live round still in it. So I guess it would be alright to feel nervous if others around you are stupid. And how are you to know that till its too late?

It's the Felin FAMAS. For a while it was supposed to become France's next assault rifle. That was before the HK 416 was selected all of sudden to strengthen France/Germany partnership.

They have already decided to change the FAMAS for the 416.
Because the Famas sucks
because they already did. The French didn't like their own design so they chose the HK416A5 to be their new main rifle. This "french design and get a german design" blablabla doesn't matter when they are both in NATO under the same central command, in fact it's so much better because now logistics and supplies don't have to differ
So start reading before criticizing the dude. The French did indeed replace their own design with a german design because they know the german design is better.

Alexou Yes, once they were done doing all the dangerous work and the mission was done they left with the help of the French.
This training wasn’t even serious. if France is only willing to commit 5-10 troops to a war zone they may as well stay home bent over. There will be more than enough Muslims there to go around soon.
