Watch my video to see what majors are the least successful!

If you could go back in time, would you choose the same major?
If I had to start over, I would personally choose a degree that would help me make more money. However, I would use the money I made to invest and ultimately buy my time freedom to then allow me to do whatever I want. I would probably go into finance (if I wasn’t already), art, or fitness.
Or, if I chose a route that didn’t pay much, I would make sure I increased my skills to increase my income. I know that I’m responsible for my own well-being and would want to always improve the person I am in all aspects of my life. I would most likely focus on skills like, sales, AI/automations implementation, and learning how to build a brand.
What are your thoughts?

I think the time we are living in passion will not pay our bills so I think he’s right
I have made it very clear that I’m not paying for degrees that aren’t marketable with my kids. I also pay 100% for A’s and 90% for B’s and nothing beyond that.
He’s absolutely right unless you’re going to get a major that actually pays well don’t even bother going to college I have family who got art majors and regret it.
😅
Philosophy is the degree you get before you go to law school. When you want to be a lawyer😮
Really 🤔
I got a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting and don’t regret it at all. I actually wish I had minored in vocal performance as it would’ve helped me get more work. My acting skills parlay very easily into sales, communications and client-centric work. I am one of the top performing agents in my company. If you are going to study the arts, you have to be savvy, strategic, have an entrepreneurial mindset and perseverance. You are basically your own product and are your own CEO. It’s not for the faint of heart or lazy people. Some people don’t make life decisions based on money by but quality of life and fulfillment. It’s boils down to values and your own definition success.
I'm just sad that this society doesn't value art. People who say something like what he said don't even realize how much art enriches our lives. Personally, I was saved by art, music, philosophy, history, etc , etc., so many times in my life that I would pay them a huge sum if I could.
I agree with you. I have a BFA; however, the data doesn’t lie. We can want society to respect and pay is more, but we have to deal with what the market values. It doesn’t mean we have to stop being artist but the schools should teach more business classes. They basically have us a semester on contract law for artist and said “good luck”.
Philosophy and history r mainly pre law degrees
Hmmm, I'm not sure. I have picked a career that I like a fair bit and makes a lot of money. It's not an easy job though, very hard actually, physically and emotionally. I'm excited about the money but also fearful that I won't be able to do this job for a long time without burning out. Time will tell. The guy telling you to take the money (don't know his name but I have seen him before) seems cynical and a little broken. His forced laughter made me sad, I think he regrets some of his choices.
Very true!
…andddd here is the answer to all of todays youth getting ready for post high school.
