My family got to spend NYE watching Manran at Inverness' "Red Hot Highland Fling" - IT WAS AWESOME! Being from Texas, it was especially cool that it started snowing just before midnight. Thank you Manran! Thank you Inverness! Thank you Scotland!!!
Remember listening to one of their songs (or a parody of another folk song - “Wild Mountain Thyme” I think it was) on the Hogmanay 2022/2023 show, loved it and now came here. Glad I did! Your songs are great - even if I can’t understand Scottish Gaelic! Might need to work on that since I’m moving to the Western Highlands in a year’s time. But keep it up!
A' Ghàidhealtachd Bhabhàiria? 's e seo a' chiad turas a chuala mi sin. Ach tha sin ceart gu leòr, oir tha daoine air feadh an t-saoghail aig a bheil gaol air Gàidhlig 🙂 'S e Sasannach a th' annam ach tha mi ag ionnsachadh a' chànain cuideachd, hehe. Suas leis a' Ghàidhlig!
@@AndyB1286 okay, then I'll explain in English. The Bavarian Alpine Belt is officially called the Oberland which means Highlands. I'm certain, I'm the only crazy Bavarian living in our Highlands learning Gaelic but I LOVE everything Alba and everything Gaelic. There's hope, seeing Gaelic is taking root all around the world 😉🙋🏻♀️🏴
A German of all people learning Gaelic? Thats really cool. Are there resources for learning Gaelic through German? If not it's even more impressive to learn a third language through your second. Meal do naidheachd!
@@andrewjennings7306 😁 thanks for all the praise you give me. I'm not sure I deserve it. English is not my first language bur I use it a lot everyday, so, it's okay. I've never seen a Gaelic-German course - would be fun, Gaelic-Bavarian better, yet. 😂 Best wishes 🙋🏻♀️🏴👍
’s aithne dhomh an t-òran seo - is dòcha gun cuala mi e nuair a chunnaic mi Mànran ann am Barrowland, ann an 2019. Chan eil mi cinnteach. Ach 's e òran math a th' ann co-dhiù - tapadh leibh! 😀 I know this song - I may have heard it when I saw Mànran at Barrowland, in 2019. I'm not sure. But it's a good song either way - thanks guys! 😀
This new singer was EXACTLY! what the band needed. The first singer was great. The fiddle player wasn't up to task. This girl is awesome. Way to go, Manran!
Linda they are my favorites as well, the videos of the landscapes are just stunning,Im from the South Scot and don't speak Gaelic (The Tongue) either but if you listen enough just sing along

I don't understand Scots but I love it. Keep it up! Love from Germany 🏴 🇩🇪
This isn't Scots, it's Gaelic, a different language. Glad you like it though, so do I. Love to you from Florida.
And I don't understand Germans.. 🤣🏴
Tha an t-òran gu math brèagha. Tha a h-uile duine cho tàlantach. 🥰
tha gu math, tha sin fìor!

Heard this band for the first time on NYE on the telly. Really liking their sound and the way this lady sings.
Great sounds!
Saw them live in Edinburgh! Was incredible
Tha gaol mòr agam air an òran seo. Gach deagh dhùrachd bho Gàidhealtachd Bhabhàiria 🙋🏻♀️
