Molasses is the same chemistry. I use deer bait that contains molasses. It is mixed 1 part molasses to 9 parts water. Their are many good videos on RUclips using this method. It should be covered because it smells like rotting food.
@someshadetreeguy3867 I've heard online it "worked" but they didn't say as well. Evaporust sells a gell version, I just went with the 5 gal of the normal stuff because I wanted all the coolant ports to be cleaned. I'm sure there are other chemicals that would work similarly, but after the results I got with the CRC stuff, I'm never gonna use anything different
I use that stuff all the time, and it works great.

@@kartingkid714 I wonder if you could just spray and soak it then wrap with a bag. Probably wouldn’t be as effective I assume
