    Thanks for this great video. I have the same amp with the same problem. I just replaced the caps with 6800uf 100v and the problem persists. The hum is still present after disconnecting the preamp so I assume something is wrong with the power section. Any idea where this could be coming from ?

      Hi thanks for your comment! At 9:16 in the video I briefly point to another set of smaller blue high voltage power supply capacitors next to the single tube on the circuit board. these are the filter caps for the tube pre-amp circuit. They can also cause the same sort pre amp hum as they degrade so maybe check those too.

      I did disconnect the preamp completely and the hum is still there. I also tried another head on the speaker and there is no hum. So I think I narrowed it down to the power amp. Could a bad mosfet cause this ? Or the bias setting ?

      check ground link to preamp and power amp board

      @@jamesk.4321 I eventually managed to solve it by resoldering a few soldering points that looked dodgy, cannot remember which ones though. Could have been the ground link, thanks for suggesting.
