@@kronosrogers1182 I recommend buying maybe a set of either 12 or 5 colours. Otherwise I think designers gouache by Winsor and Newton is an option, or maybe buy a tube of white gouache (that you can mix with your watercolours, if you have them).

I'm not sure how into video games you usually are, but I think you might like Earthbound. The music in this video reminded me of it. It's got lots of bright colors, cute creatures, quirky characters, and gets super creepy toward the end. I also want to say how cute these doodles are! They mix really well.Glad you discovered these.I found the colour of the inlind palete didn't affect my colour mixing at all.You can get larger sets of 24 and 57. But these are a good way to experiment with gouache. my two sets stayed wet for some time, but spritzing them once in a while also works as they dry out.I will be using these a lot more in the future. Arrtx make two different 18 colours sets one is more pastel the other more primary.
I love the wormy-creatures mountain painting, because it could be a fun explanation why Super Mario hills are the way they are with eyes. (in like, Mario 3) it's just a green wormy guy!

I have the arrtx set and no problems whatsoever. Just as good as the Himi tbh. Kasey's the first Artist I hear complaining about them. It could be because she's using them more like watercolor instead of gouache. (So i'm pretty sure it's not the brand- hope this helps)

My boyfriend and I use these and I can tell you they hold up fine. You can reactivate and they work like normal. This is the only kind of gouache I've used bc I'm not a painter, but they're definitely fun
I have the Himi gouache set, and I noticed that you're using another brand. I have no complaints with my set, so I think it might be the brand instead of the jelly gouache? I'm not sure, as I've only dabbled in gouache before.
I have the arrtx set and no problems whatsoever. Just as good as the Himi tbh. Kasey's the first Artist I hear complaining about them. It could be because she's using them more like watercolor instead of gouache. (So i'm pretty sure it's not the brand- hope this helps)
himi and arrtx are from the same brand i believe
I actually just got jelly gouache the other day, what timing! Thanks for sharing this video.
Her: reviewing the paint
Me: trying to figure out how she’s so good at art-
the faces on the paint are so CUTE!
The fact that you drew a African American character made me subscribe!!!! You just gained a new subscriber 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Casey: “ah what flavour will we have this time”
_pulls out orange flavoured paint_
Me: “oh orange pudding, or maybe tomato sauce?”
Casey: *C O N S T R U C T I O N P U D D I N G*
I love that last painting so much, can't wait to see more gouache videos!
I remember the first time I saw these…
I thought it was food
This is the earliest ive ever been 💕💕

Title: Trendy or Trash?
Me: TRENDY!
Yay! These are one of my favorite type of media, I have the Himi gouache. I am so happy Kasey tried them! ♥️🎨
Omg I'm very early here, I'm proud of myself! :'DD
Is it just me or are some of the comments here before it was even posted lol

I think some people on her patreon got early access
Good job!
I like the colours in your profile picture, do they represent something?
@@mirjanbouma it's the gay male flag. A counterpart to the lesbian flag. And different from the flag that's just a blue version of the lesbian flag.
@@kitse_xiii8334 I don't think I've seen it before. Thank you!
I have the Himi jelly Gouache its said its from the same company, but when I see this, the casing and the color swatch are soo much better for my personal taste, especially the casing coz himi have a very cute casing color ^^
me: mango

me: OH key lime

I don't mind watching artist swatch paints, markers, etc. Just because I love art supplies. BUT with Kasey, I LOVE watching her swatch! You always know it is going to be neat, orderly and so very satisfying!!! LOVE IT!!! EDIT: As soon as I typed that and hit play again, she got a little paint on the paper that wasn't orderly! 😂😂😂 its okay. Even Kasey can't be perfect 100% of the time. We see now that she is actually human.
"I think landscapes are boring"
oh no that's all I make D:
What could be boring for some could be exciting for others ❤️ keep doing what makes you happy! Sorry for my sappy comment lol
@@kayceewhite I actually got a set of these paints a couple weeks ago and have, uh, mostly drawn landscapes with them haha. Is a good intro to gouache painting.
I think they're beautiful and amazing and I wish I could do them but I can't 😭 I know I should practice them more but it's frustrating being new and bad at stuff hahaha
@@bookshelfhoney my advice is to watch a lot of Bob Ross haha that's how I got started, but also, it might help you to focus less on the contours/lines and exclusively on the colors that are present in a scene, and the way light and shadow play. Those are the 2 most important parts of landscape art.
@@MidoriMushrooms thank you! I love bob ross! I think I'll set a goal to try out some more landscapes this year
I love the olive green color!!
