Thank you for your appreciation. Regarding how to practice, well, I am not an authority on voice culture. I can only say that you need to practice every day. You need to do a lot of akaara saadhakam. Do humming and practice smooth phrasing in your comfort zone. Please never push your voice to scale what you can't. It has to come slowly with practice. Whatever I know is the training from voice expert Sri Anant Vaidyanathan who has amazing insight into each one's voice. Maybe I will do a video on the main points I have understood from him if possible.

My pleasure. Well if I remember right, the Mahabhatat song was more in the Maddhyamavathi mould , which is very similar but it doesn't have a gandharam at all. Just sa ri ma pa ni sa and same way back.
