Woodturning - Spiral Vase

- In today's woodturning project, I used leftover wood from other projects, to make a vase with an interesting spiraling pattern.

Would love to see this with a more randomized spiral pattern.
You could make it more inconsistent, but if it were truly random it wouldn’t be a spiral any more.

Would love to see the spiral step style vase but fill in the gaps with clear epoxy, instead of grinding it down, so we can see the steps. Not sure if that made sense

Very nice!!! Good choice of wood colors.
Be careful when using gloves on wood turnings. I understand why you were using them, but it isn’t safe to do so since the my pose a safety hazard. Suggest nitrile or latex gloves like what doctors use if you use any type of glove.

Лично мне нравится. Но муж, когда я показываю ему эти ролики, плюётся, ругается матом как портовый грузчик и кричит: «Как можно, так издеваться над деревом»! «Древесину нужно резать острым инструментом, а не крошить зубилом».
Если честно, в мастерской у него я и правда такой крошки не видала. У него стружка всегда пушистая, приятная на ощупь, похожа на ленточки. Да и стенки у изделий, раза в три тоньше, на яркий свет даже просвечиваются.
