Hi buddy it depends, here en Guadalajara we dont have a aluminum wire provider, you have to buy it from amazon or something like that, and that its expensier for me. However I've use aluminun wire and its better with two strings, I dont recomend it two strings with copper wire. Greetings

Great video, however I wouldn't use copper wire. Aluminium is best for stop motion.

How long does the wire last? I imagine using only one strand of wire would have a shorter life than two strands twisted together, right?
