I once spent a summer building cardboard armor and 2x4 guns from ALIENS to recreate the fight in the control room. None of it look anywhere near accurate as I had only seen the movie once on HBO late one night.
A part of my heart hurts that this isn't your most popular video. Though maybe that's a blessing because Universal Studios would be all over this for those *perfect* re-enactments.
Normally it takes me like a few vids before I get into someone’s content and subscribe, but I don’t know, something about the way he spared no expense on the puns made me subscribe instantly
Your dad sounds like an amazing man. I'm so glad that he's imprinted such raw talent in you (and by the looks of things in your hilarious Jurassic Park feature length remake, your siblings too). I lost my dad to cancer a few years ago, and he was one of my most monumental inspirations, creatively and emotionally. I'm really glad you paid homage to your dad in this video. I relate, a few years ago I paid homage to my dad with a short film that took me over 300 hours to animate. I'm looking forward to more beautiful content from you in the near future - a fellow content creator - Bitplex :)
It took me a minute to realize who wood spinning dude was 😂, then I realized I've definitely seen his wood in my recommends. Dude spins a good log though.
As a tribute to your dad this is nothing short of awesome. As others have commented, often dad is that spark of creative inspiration. My dad was certainly one of those. My brother and I used to call him "Chet Morton" (of the Hardy Boys series) because he would cycle through one 'hobby' after another. Growing up we ran the gamut of pastimes: candle-making, homemade pickles, rock tumbling, elaborate Christmas displays to hang off the front of the house, and various DIY craft projects. And then my brother and I got bit by the model railroading bug, and it was all over. Dad joined us in commandeering a downstairs room, we built and installed what amounted to a wall-to-wall table, and went to town - learned my flocking chops on that landscaping for sure. Now I'm the grandpa, and am (hopefully) carrying on the tradition - have made some awesome home-built projects with the grandkids (homage in foamboard to It's a Small World, anyone?). I love to watch your videos -- carry that creative spark always.
The Hardy Brothers are classic. I would read them every time I went to my grandpa's house. He had a stash of them in the upstairs rooms of his old house in the countryside.
omg I'd love to recreate a movie with a group of friends drunk but I feel like it would devolve into chaos of laughter and some arguments on how to do a scene 😂
This turned out great! And knowing it's a gift for your father is so sweet. ❤ Also, I started watching your remake, can't wait to finish it. The actor playing Ian Malcom is pure gold.
That kid-made version of JP is adorable! And considering you *were* children doing those scenes, and the technical difficulties back then, that was surprisingly well done!
I audibly gasped when I saw the Doyouthinkhesaurus that came out with the premiere in 1993. I had one and loved it until she now only has one leg left. Seeing yours being immaculate was such a nostalgia slap. I hope your dad adored this gift. It was a privilege to watch the process and share in your sentimental thoughts, hilarious puns, and masterful editing.
Studson, thank you so much for treating us to such a precious memory with this and the HudsonFilms video. That’s definitely the hardest I’ve smiled and laughed in a very long time. :)
Jesus christ man. I love the work but your editing is so spot on. Your vast knowledge of pop culture, the timing, the mememery. All of it a craft of its own. You're my new favorite channel
This looks so good, I just started watching your channel a few weeks back and already implemented so many of your ideas and techniques into my own builds, keep it up! I bet all of my not many moneys that your channel is gonna explode within the next 3 uploads, this is just so up there with -and beyond the best crafting channels I know regarding builds and editing.
The "one last ride" bit with the glue actually made me laugh out loud. Also, sounds like you have a wonderfull dad and family as a whole.Happy holidays!
Your family seems really awesome. I miss my Dad. He passed from cancer at 50. He used to build all my school models with me, even up into college. He taught me all about how to use tools and fix things. Now all his tools are mine and I'll always remember working on school projects with him. I love this project that you did for your Dad ♡
My 27 year old daughter and I were VERY impressed by the quality of your homemade version of Jurassic Park! You absolutely smashed it! Oh. Nice job on the model.
Thank you! I'm always so surprised to see others enjoy it, since it was only made as something to force my family to watch and pretend they enjoy. To this day, the youngest family member as Malcolm remains my favorite part.
At my old daycare when I was really little, my old friend Ron and I would watch Jurassic Park in his room. We were obsessed with dinosaurs and had a collection of toys and would pretend to be dinosaurs and wrestle around on the floor. You did such a good job on both the remake and the diorama! You’re so talented!!
Thank you for sharing this! Brought tears to my eyes as my papa who was the father figure in my life recently passed and he imprinted quite a bit on me and the world I live in. Was so nice to hear how your dad has been so supportive to you and all of your siblings. I love getting inspired by your videos to create the miniatures and dioramas I make. Thanks again!
Aren't you just the absolute sweetest. I absolutely love your videos. I have just started supporting you on patreon. I wish i could do more. I value your content highly. Thanks for everything
♥️♥️♥️♥️ this was soooo cute!!! The build was fun but the story behind it is so cute. Shout out to your dad and mom for not only supporting but taking part in your artistic endeavors. My mom got me hooked on art. I got my first sketch pad when I was five and it's been an obsession ever since! I hope your dad loved this!
I have to say, I just watched the JP video and dear god it was the best thing I have ever seen, as a past theater kid I give you and your family mad props. Incredible.
You're one of my favorite new channels. Your models are awesome and creative, your narration is descriptive and funny, and your editing is on point. Keep up the great work!
Found your channel yesterday and i really love your style. Not only do you make awesome looking stuff but youre witty and funny as well. Its very entertaining to watch, and frankly you deserve more attention, so keep up the good work!
Why is the children's recreation almost as good as the damn movie. I mean, the editing is flawless, CGI, perfect and the acting is superb. How did you do it man?
This is absolutely stunning. I never would have thought to do something like this, but yours turned out great! Absolutely love the paint job and the landscaping is amazing. Great job, man
I can't remember the last time I actually sat and laughed out loud to someones witty and sarcastic running commentary. You still manage to get across enough info for us viewers to feel like with a little effort maybe we to can pull off something like this mini masterpiece. I have only very recently come across your channel and have now watched a few of your builds. Not only do you possess a dry, witty and sarcastic sense of humour to rival my own, but seeing a few of your vids now and knowing you are damn well consistant, (and it was not just a stand alone fluke or two), I have now subscribed and look forward to being well entertained whilst watching you and gathering ideas to use in my own crafting. Your mini masterpieces are phenomenal. Fantastic content, thank you !! :)
This is now my favorite crafting video in existence. It's very instructional, your delivery is incredibly entertaining, the movie clips (from one of my favorite movies) were perfectly on point and the story behind the build is adorable! And I LOVED seeing the bits of your homade movie! Thank you for this! and as for your question, yeah. Probably this one.
Uhm. Coolest dad ever. That’s dope! No wonder you have a tenacity for this stuff. I enjoy your videos & it seems like it comes naturally to you. Bravo to your parents!
This is by far The Most Delightful video I've watched this month! Not only was it fun to see your crafting process but it was really sweet to hear about your dad. He sounds like a swell guy and I'm sure he'll love this! Thanks for sharing a piece of your childhood with us - it gave me lots of warm fuzzies :'^) P.S. That recreation of Jurassic Park is honestly incredible - I'm blown away by the effort & dedication required to put it all together, and as a kiddo, no less !! Now that's what I call Art *chef kiss*

All your builds are amazing but this one really blew me away. I am a huge fan of Jurassic Park lol.
