Chucks teachings are the best out there. I know of certainty God led me to be taught under Pastor Chuck. The Word of God being prominent and the WHOLE counsel of God.
A bit disappointed. I came to this video looking for an explanation of the analogy in Chapter 6 of the land/dresser/rain and Chuck goes off explaining the Parable of the Sower in Matthew. The two are not the same plus, the Parable in Matthew require no explanation... Christ gives it later in the Chapter.
I do not agree with the part talking about the young man who turned away, I think there may still be hope for him. The same way you say that this verse in Hebrews turns many away from Christ who backslid feels to me an accusation against him to not be able to return :(
How could one quench the Holy Spirit if they themselves fall away. I was backslidden as a christian until 8 months ago, I had the truth, I KNEW the truth since I was 12. I still did what I wanted, no matter what. God called me back, and He put it plainly in His word (Romans) Either you are a Slave to Christ, or a Slave to Sin. freewill is a very 'weighty' gift, be wise when choosing. God bless.
Not sure what version Pastor Chuck was reading, but the KJV or ESV does not say the young man who was with his step mom and their church kissed and made up. Last line of verse he was being handed over to the devil. I did not agree with his interpretation of Hebrews chapter 6. Two of my favorite teachers are Calvary Chapel pastors, Pastor Joe, and Pastor Chris in Pennsylvania. Some things we will just disagree on, but we do agree on preaching the good news, and seeing people saved.
what are you even talking about, man? "Not sure what version Pastor Chuck was reading, but the KJV or ESV does not say the young man who was with his step mom and their church kissed and made up. Last line of verse he was being handed over to the devil." I listened, and watched this entire video after reading your comment. Either way, It's not his interpretation, he exegetically read the bible and explained it clearly. Do you think its once saved, always unconditionally saved? Because God's word doesn't teach that. Seems like you got itchy ears to hear what you want instead.
I was good with it at first assuming they were still close… then he said support groups for incest 😳 and they weren’t close anymore… everything got colored differently
