Afterwards, Windu would instruct Anakin to arrest them for assassinating the Chancellor, while Maul was to be let go for holding up his end of the bargain and so that he wouldn't be able to compromise their story, that the three of them acted alone. Anakin would plead with them not to make him turn Obi-Wan in, but Obi-Wan insists that he knew the risks going in, that the Jedi who went to face Sidious had to be seen as rogue and dealt with by the law in order for the plan to work, and that Obi-Wan was willing to make this sacrifice for the Jedi. Yoda then reminds Anakin that though they will probably be executed, they will have saved countless lives. Mace Windu quotes the Fourth Precept: "There is no death, only the Force." Sparing their lives against the will of the Force would only bring more harm to others. Though he deeply wishes not to, Anakin agrees to arrest the Jedi. Obi-Wan, Mace Windu, and Yoda would come before the Senate, pleading guilty to the charges of colluding with Maul to kill the Chancellor. Tarkin would push for the Jedi Order to be disbanded by force, furious that the Jedi killed the Chancellor, but the testimonies of Obi-Wan and Anakin would convince the Senate that the three Masters were truly acting alone. To make sure that things went smoothly, the version the three Masters gave was the version given to the Jedi as well, while Anakin privately revealed the full story to the rest of the Jedi Council, Ahsoka, and Padmé. The Senate would convict Mace, Yoda, and Obi-Wan. Mace and Yoda would be sentenced to death, while public sentiment and Obi-Wan's testimony that Palpatine had been behind everything would sway public opinion that he would merely be sentenced to life in prison with no parole. Mas Amedda would become the acting Chancellor, and would feign ignorance in order to make sure he wasn't seen as part of Palpatine's conspiracy. However, the Vice Chair would soon be removed in a vote of no confidence. Padmé would give birth to Luke and Leia and ultimately resign her Senate position. Anakin would be forced to reveal his marriage to Padmé to the Council, but his decision to arrest Obi-Wan and potentially let him be executed in order to protect the Jedi as a whole proved to the Council that he had the ability to let go of his attachments for the greater good. They would make an exception and allow Anakin to stay, as well as promoting him to the rank of Master and allowing him to keep his Council seat. The Jedi Council would elect Plo Koon as the new Grandmaster, and he would make the decision to separate the Jedi Council from the Republic. He would speak before the Senate, claiming that Jedi involvement had put the Republic in danger, and that Republic politics had carried an adverse effect on the Jedi, citing both Barriss Offee and the three rouge Masters. It would be best for both bodies if there was a little more distance between them. Tarkin, who had become a disquietingly powerful voice in the Republic, accused the Jedi of planning to carve out their own space in the Galaxy and proclaimed them as Separatists. The Jedi insisted that they would not fight the Republic unless the Republic attacked first and that they would move their operations only to those places that were already under direct Jedi control, namely Tython, Ilum, and much of the Galaxy's Cortosis mines. Bail Organa would ultimately spearhead an initiative to accept the Jedi's terms, which won by a tiny majority on the sentiment that they did not want war with the Jedi. Tarkin was livid, but powerless to stop the pacifists from gaining a greater foothold as the Jedi's claims backed up the arguments they'd been making from the start. The Jedi would eventually learn the location of the Separatist Council on Mustafar and capture them. The testimony of Gunray would reveal that Darth Sidious was indeed real, and that he had been working to aid Gunray and Dooku since the Battle of Naboo. Realizing that his whole Chancellory was a lie, public sentiment would turn against Palpatine, calling for a return to form. Many Militarist Senators would turn their backs on Palpatine's ways and embrace Pacifism. The election for the Chancellor would see Bail Organa become the new Supreme Chancellor, striking down the Emergency Powers Act and spearheading the removal of many of Palpatine's invasive security measures. The Grand Army of the Republic would continue to exist to reassure Militarists, but its budget would be reduced and Bail Organa assured the public that the Clone Army's contracts would not be renewed. The Senate also passed the Clone Trooper Welfare Act, promising all of the Clones pension payments once they retired. Meanwhile, Maul would continue operating the Shadow Collective, now seeking to form his own empire in the Galaxy. He also sought a new apprentice, though not in the ways of the Rule of Two. Maul sought to build a new Dark Side order, recruiting Merrin the Nightsister to it. Maul would ultimately build a much more relaxed order, alike to the Brotherhood of Darkness. Anakin would ultimately catch up to Maul and destroy his order, bringing balance to the Force as was foretold. In his older years, Anakin would be elected Grandmaster, and he would redefine many of the Jedi's practices, more properly synthesizing the tenets of the Jedi Code with the existence of healthy attachments. As such, Anakin would ultimately take on Luke as his Padawan, though he only chose Luke because Ahsoka wanted to train Leia. Anakin and Padmé would grow old together on their new home on Tython, watching over their children in peace.
@@starwarsquillI figured a bit more of a fluffy ending was fitting. I also wanted to make sure that Obi-Wan lived, sort of like a reward from the Force to Anakin for making the right choice. I also grappled between the realistic next candidate for Grandmaster (Ki-Adi Mundi) and Plo, but I figured that Plo would make a better Grandmaster.
Imma be a dark side fan and say . . . I feel like Maul would have made a dark side order similar to the jedi but that practiced using the dark side without hurting the force (because I'm pretty sure how the sith used it actually harmed the force while the witches [who u forgot the names of] actually use the dark without hurting the force) and every now and then small disputes would probably happen because some from mauls order would become a sith and be stopped every now and then because with the dark side it's bound someone is gonna want more power. Alright I'm done Feel free to fact check and prove me wrong or right about the dark side harming the force Thanks in advance Note: the reason why I think maul would make a peaceful dark order instead of a sith order is because he learned what wanting power from the dark side will do to someone.
"Palpatine doesn't figure out the council asked Anakin to spy on him" Nah man, he already figured out long ago that he was under suspicion, that was just the right cue to try to sway Anakin
2:57 I always feel like Obi Wan's response to Anakin saying "Padme and I are married" would be "I know." "You knew? How?" "You literally gave her the droid you made for your mother, who has been following her around since as a translator. You literally fly with the droid she gave you. You two are really bad at keeping secrets."
"Wait, you know about our marriage?" "Even Ahsoka knows about you two, Anakin. For Bendu's sake, she was trying to keep me from finding out until I told her I already knew."
There are several things to consider: - The Jedi Masters, Anakin and Maul stand before the Senate and reveal all they learned about Palpatine's orchestrations and plans before the Senators, who in turn Pardoned the Jedi and Maul from the Assasination since they, in the end, acted to protect the Republic from a terrible threat that worked to Undermine them from within (even if Maul didn't do so for that reason) although the Jedi were forced to remove their HQ from Coruscant to Thyton even if they can still opperate in the Planet, and forced Maul (who was after all, a Criminal) away from the Core, returning to Obah Diah to keep forming his Criminal Empire that will opperate in the Outer Rim (although the Jedi will have him as a Special Asset who can Assist them when it comes of dealing with Criminal Underground Groups and Sith Related Relics and Worlds) - Anakin will reveal about his Marriage to Padme to the Jedi Council but because of circumstances around the situation with Sidious and his key role in the Order itself, The Council decides to keep Anakin as part of the Jedi Order and made him a Master (and later on becomes more an Scholar making a lot of studies about the Force and Galactic History while not abandoning his amazing skills both an Ace Pilot and Engineer). Then Anakin request to leave the Order temporarily in order to be his Wife (Who quits Senate work in big part because she was ashamed of the fact that she, unwittingly, allowed Palpatine to rise into power as Chancellor of the Republic) and Children on the Planet of Naboo. Being constantly visited be Ahsoka, Obi-Wan and Yoda. Later on, Anakin decides to enroll Luke and Leia in the Jedi Order but with the condition that Padme should be allowed to be part of their Education being allowed to visit as often as she can (something the Council agreed to). Luke become one of the most Prodigial Knights in Order and Leia as she become an Adult decide to partially leave the Jedi Order in order to pursue Politics and become the main Representative of the Jedi Order in the fully reformed Galactic Senate - Considering how close the Jedi Order was to fall to Palpatine and how much they Strayed away from the Original Teachings of the Jedi of Old and after learning from experiences like Anakin Marriage about how Attachments serve as a way to keep a person in the Light if they manage to keep emotions in check and stay resolute to the cause, the Jedi decided to make changes to the Jedi Code, allowing attachments in the Order. Also they decided to expand beyond the Core and opperate several Academies in the Galaxy - Also, The Republic realizes how much they let themselves be corupted and molded to one's liking thank to the Actions of Palpatine, his Inner Circle, and his Sith Predecessors (as more evidence of the actions of the Sith get discovered) partially because of the Russan Reformation made them so vulnerable in the end as well as the fact the there are many Posibilities of Future Threats (Such as the Yuthzan Vong and the Dark Nest Crisis). So the Republic System was fully reformed and the Republic Military reconstructed to something similar to how it was in the days of the Old Republic so they would be better prepared for everithing that might come as well as making preparations to Expand their influence outside of the Core - Many of the Clones, after a complete removal of their Inhibitor Chips, discovering a way to slow their Aging and taking the Leadership of Kamino into custody for their colaboration with the Sith; decided to stay in the GAR in order to train the Newest Generation of Clones as well as Natborns that started to fill the Ranks after the many changes of the Republic Military. Others left to stay with the Jedi as their personal Security Forces while other follow Jango's steps and enter the Bounty Hunting world. A few years Later the Production of Clones of Jango's line will be fully Halted (because of lack of Material) and the Cloning Facilities will be Shut down until new Clones would be ever needed again and many Clones decided to Freeze themselves so if the Republic needs them again, they will Return to fight once more joined by Clones from other templates in future wars - Many decades into the Future we'll see Palpatine (who returns to life in the Unknown Regions thanks to a Ritual and realizing that the Republic and the Jedi were more prepared to deal with the Machinations of the Sith and with the Republic Military as Strong as ever) return once more into the Galaxy now with a New Sith Army he constructed in secret to wage open war against the Republic since the Grand Plan was completely foiled and there was no way he could corrupt it again. But he will be finally defeated by Anakin Skywalker (now the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order) fufilling the Prophecy of the Chosen One for good
It's worth noting, jedi were originally allowed to have relationships and marriages, it usually required they don't ever work with their lovers for well, the same reason you don't let soldiers or police work with theirs.
The link to the force Jar-jar achieves by nearly being sacrificed to the living force opens a back door for Palpatine to escape to.. Jar-jar gaining visions/memories of the former sith lords life.. awakening him as the Darth lord Binks. Alternatively Anakin bringing true balance as the Jedi pin the death of Palpatine on Maul.. "we were simply to late to stop him" standing up to the Order with Asohka freeing Maul and through an intense duel sparing Mauls life once more and bringing him back from the darkness.. showing the order that disregarding and denying basic feelings leads down the path of resentment... about to expel Anakin from the order. When Obi-Wan can no longer remain quite.
I really want to see that Darth Jar-Jar ending. "Yoosha Ani have bombad dark side powah Ani....yoosha become powerful Sith Lord!" "Ooppsie, mesa make big messup"
One critique - the visions were implanted by Sidious to drive Anakin away from the Jedi. Early in the video iirc it was implied that they naturally came from the force by you as the narrator rather than just Yoda. Just a piece of lore that might help for future projects
It is only theorized that this is true, the same scene at the end of rots where padme died was also the same as what was seen in the vision earlier in rots
The Jedi council were raised their entire lives to reject emotions like the chosen one couldn’t. So how do people think the Jedi council members had the emotional intelligence to know how to build trust via embracing emotions?
Ok. I'm 2 minutes in and I actually really like how you approach this conversation. Yoda's willingness to "help anakin with the visions" doesn't become "Oh hey, let's make Yoda completely understand what's going on and act in a way that's out of character." It still feels very true to both character and the time, with Anakin withholding information while Yoda continues to push the "emotions are bad" spiel, but with enough change that the result of the conversation would change the direction both characters would go. Anakin would respond to the visions with a more measured investigation, and Yoda would keep a closer eye on both. I actually disagree how the council meeting would go. Anakin would still be offended by the denial of mastery. We know he's a headstrong and egotistical jedi who was raised in a military jedi order and conflated his military success with his jedi success, even before the visions. He would lack the desperation to have access to the jedi archives, but it would be a wedge between him and the council. I don't see him taking it on the chin gracefully, but I think he would have handled it slightly better. I also don't think Yoda would be so caring as to consider what anakin is going through. Sure, he might have a better idea of Anakin's mental state, but he's still a jedi leader who was indoctrinated on detachment and order since birth. His tunnel vision on the bigger picture is a character flaw we shouldn't disregard. I think Yoda WOULD encourage Obi-Wan to help Anakin meditate on the visions he's had and his confusion, and Obi-Wan (as a more emotional jedi) would approach the visions with the respect and brotherhood that Anakin would need. Obi-Wan would be a friend to both Palpatine and Amidala, and so he would be able to reassure Anakin about the visions AND better explain the concerns of watching the Chancellor. I think Anakin would still be distrustful of the jedi council, and the opera scene would go as normal, with the only major difference being that Anakin has had time to question his visions and wouldn't respond so desperately to the story of Plagueis. I think Anakin would still want to do research into Plagueis because he is still the impulsive and flawed Anakin, but I think he would do it calmly. I think he would go to the archives and access the history of Plagueis. In so doing, he'd get a vision of the sith through the jedi's viewpoint, as temptors and liars, and be less willing to believe the stories. Unfortunately, I think his distrust of the Sith would mean that when Palpatine revealed his sith nature, Anakin would probably not be as... receptive to his influences. I think Palpatine would realize he couldn't control anakin and instead strike him down and execute order 66 ahead of schedule. I think with Mace Windu and the rest of the council still alive, I think the invasion of the Jedi Temple would result in more people escaping, but it would be more organized, more dogmatic, less willing to adapt. The flawed Jedi Order would survive, and would eventually be hunted down by the inquisitors one by one.
Great video. It's been a long time since I've seen alternate timeline channels that make realistic assumptions and outcomes. Love how you made Maul into the anti-hero he truly is.
This video is amazing! It wont just tell us the story but also shows us information if we dont know something like, who bo katan is. It can help newcomers to star wars a lot!
It was Captain Tarpals who was the Sith. The story does leave one question and that question is who would tell the Senate they went rogue considering that everyone who was in on the plan was directly involved?
44:10 Mace: "I'll go and you can say I went rogue" Maul: "If I go with you you'll be more likely to succeed and it'll be more believable that you went rogue." Yoda: "Go with you as well I will, I am old and must protect the order." What Everyone should have said: "Grand master, with all due respect, having the public and official leader of the order go when we're planning to deny official involvement is a terrible idea. We'd be sending the two most senior members of the council who exactly can say the mission was unsanctioned then?"
So glad you had Anakin not be the one who figured it all out. Too many of these have Anakin or Ahsoka be the ones to save the day. It's nice to see Yoda get to show his chops as the wide old space Kermit
That was after the Plagueis part. Palpatine tells the Plagueis story when he calls over Anakin to inform him that they know where Grievous is hiding. Later Mace Windu sends Anakin to go tell Palatine of Obi Wan defeating Grievous and thats when he’s called back here. :)
I have a weird hypothesis: Palpatine used Anakin's mother as a test to calibrate his own senses to anakin's distress and fear. It does the following: someone close he cares about is going to die. Implanted force visions about it to raise the anxiety and increase emotional output, specific to the most vulnerable point in grief: the loss. Palpatine planned it to know it was time to wrap things ip
this would make a good movie in its own. i see the jedi turning themselves in and maul excaping i also beleive the jedi would be able to negotiate a pardon because many of the senators would realize that they needed the jedi to bring order back. maul would go into hiding eventually making his own sith order wich could eventually be made into a black ops group by the senate. ahsoka would continue to work with the mandalorians for a while untill she has a falling out with their warrior ways and would become a nomad monk occasionally working with the jedi or even maul new death march. anakin might retire and live his live with padme, luke and leia occasionally returning to help old friends. yoda would probily retire aswell to dagoba to live out the rest of his life in peace. mace would rise in power among the jedi and his beleifs would be more accepted creating more purple weilding knights obiwan similar to mace would rise in power but eventually become a white jedi seeking to balance his own demons and teach other jedi the same these are just my predictions
Ending... They blame it on Darth Maul for disguising as a clone trooper and let him escape, say it seemed the separatists had a final plan, and that Maul used Sith sorcery to remain undetected and once they arrived sensing his presence it was already too late and the chancellor had already passed away as they were waiting for the guard to notify him of their arrival.. Just say they were too late. And then go "investigate" the assasination only to find out Palpatine was actually planning to kill the jedi order to consolidate his power in the senate as a dictator without obstruction from the Jedi, and then finally reveal he was a Sith lord and maul killed his master as Sith do." No need to get them all arested for it.
Why didn’t Obi-Wan use force speed to get through the red shield doors? He could have saved Qui-Gon, and Qui-Gon would’ve kept Anakin in line. It really was the duel of fates, specifically Anakin’s fate.
Darth JarJar just so happened manipulated Palpatine into creating the grand army of the republic and now has shown himself to the Jedi and reveals that he was the one who manipulated Palpatine all along with out Palpatine knowing it
Now this is the story we all needed to see up on the big screen. All kinds of good stuff acting out the way it should have. No Darth Vader or order 66. All the work and time Sidious put into his plan being ruined before they could come true. Seeing the Jedi actually being wise and powerful like they were meant to be. Doing what they were suppose to be doing. It's all good. Much respect for all your hard work and creativity. Being able to see Anakin and Padme having Luke and Leia and being able to live on as a family. Tragedy isn't what makes movies good, suspense sure, but in the end, living happily ever after is always what makes a movie memorable. I am or ever have been a fan of Anakin Skywalker because of his ultimate betrayal of the whole galaxy. He was alright as a little kid but starting with Episode II, when he became a whinny little bitch. Then in Episode III when he did betray everything and everyone in the whole galaxy becoming Darth Vader. Thru the original trilogy up until he saved Luke. He was an asshole. Before he did that, I bet not a one person would ever think that they would shed a tear when he died, myself included. But we all did because of what he did for Luke and because of him as well. We all felt the pain Luke was feeling because we all loved him as our hero. Don't even want to get into what the two real life Vader and Sidious, (Johnson and Kennedy) did to him. That makes me sick to my stomach to this day. People like yourself help heal those deep wounds made by those two with stories like this. So I thank you so very much for that. Oh I know Darth Jar Jar is just a joke. You wouldn't do something like that to us. That's something only the likes of Johnson or Kennedy would do. Kennedy would make it a female Gungan for sure. Nothing against female leads or heros, love them. But just like male leads and heros, they need to be written well and done right.
One thing I hate about the Jedi council is what they did to anakin which was holding back his power, not helping him on his path as the chosen one, and just treating him like an outcast all because he had a connections or being to old. The Jedi council wanted a Jedi to have a life only to the order and no where else that’s not right to only have a life in one area.
@@starwarsquill your writting actually feels like clone wars and movies episode you use logic and expanded world of star wars that is what i like the most
A few problems with the basis for this 1. The "visions" were created by Palpatine 2. Palpatine definitely knew he was being spied on. He just used the fact he knew to further shake Anakin. 3. Maul surviving isn't compatible with the novelization the Yoda meeting and archives motive come from. The RotS novelization was written as part of a trilogy by Matt Stover and they worked off the old multimedia project, in other words, pre tcw and ahsoka
"Anakin deciding to help himself" is more accurate then the saying "Yoda actually deciding to help Anakin". That completely ignores the very fact that Anakin is purposely vague so Yoda only has so much to work with and that the Jedi are at war. For all Yoda knows it could be Obi-Wan or even Ashoka he is dreaming of especially since the Jedi are currently at war and facing the threat death on a daily basis.
You could have Darth maul purposely take the blame he could tell the jedi to say that maul had been spotted by the jedi and they were the closest to maul location and they were not able to stop him in time and say he escaped but in reality to take him to a planet hidden somewhere faraway so that the jedi can help him recover and redeem himself and then let the truth about palpatine come out letting the hole galaxy know that palpatine was a sith lord😊
The one thing about a vision specifically Anakins so-called vision of Padme dying in child birth! The visons are always incomplete because you don't see what lead up to that point in the visions. There were choices pre visions. Anakin never thought about that! He caused her death in child birth. She lost the will to live and of a broken heart. Why? It was because of Anakin actions of betraying Windu, betraying the republic, turning to the dark side, killing younglings and wanting to rule the galaxy. Padme told Anakin on Mustafur, your breaking my heart and I can't follow you. Anakin/Vader never admitted that he caused Padme to die! In the Kenobi series, Ben told Anakin he was sorry about not stopping, helping or aid him turning to the darkside. Anakin tells Kenobi, you didn't do this to me, I did it! Anakin never in a comic, book or movie admitted his actions caused Padme to turn against him and die in child birth.
Anakin also never admitted he was wrong to try and have his cake and eat it too. By staying in the Order while lying by omission about breaking the rules. It's a slap in the face to the many other Jedi who sacrificed their own desires for their duty or wisely chose another path by leaving the Order instead of breaking their vows behind everyone's back.
@@redaxer2908 Yep! I have my issues with the Jedi! They were far from perfect! That goes for the Republic. However, both paled in comparison to the Empire under Palpatine reign of terror, death, destruction and chaos for 20 plus years. Billions died and suffered! The planet Alderan was destroyed! If not for both Death Stars being destroyed, more planets would have been destroyed for not bowing down to the Empire under Palpatine.
To be honest, Windu doesn't deserve all that pity. He was very rude towards Anakin and even more towards Ahsoka. His behavior greatly contributed to Anakin's fall.
@@jozefmasny8349 Its not rude being discipline, following orders and not being lead by ones emotions! Anakin was a wild child but your wanted him coddled and aloud to do whatever while everyone else was held accountable! Really!
@@arronfrazier7873 Ahsoka was about to tell him about Maul. He interrupted her with "Citizen Tano" and didn't wanna hear it. His behavior wasn't just tough for disciplinary reasons. That would be OK. But instead, it was straight up arrogant and disrespectful.
This has been well thought out. It wasn't to unbelievable as most hypothetical scenarios are, which most of the time are without thought for the difficulties they will face in achieving them. Like, you could have just said the jedi override the prison systems to prevent the elevators from locking down, or had the jedi stop the clone troopers from capturing the night owls, for simplicity. But that would have been unrealistic, since the republic controls the prisons and are not subject to the there authority. And attacking the clone troopers would have put the jedi in a situation where they would have to either kill the troopers, incapacitate them and let slip there plane to Sidious, or somehow capture them to prevent them saying anything, which would still tick them off because a few guards are missing and there bodies are gone. And most importantly you worked these themes into the narrative of the story, rather then having them simply be limitations of your story. They were plot devices which drove the narrative forward. Really impressive mate, Absolutely loved it, This is what good story telling looks like.
If you believe that you need to read the books surrounding the movies which were canon when the movie was made Palpatine was manipulating Anakin using the the force
35:05 Were the Kaminoans “in” on the plan, though? The Clone Wars very strongly suggested that the Kaminoans genuinely believed that the(or at least a) Jedi hired them. There was a scene with 2 of the top Kaminoans after they had a conversation with Dooku(who did hire them). They were talking with Dooku about the chips and he said something along the lines of it being to protect against rogue Jedi. One Kaminoan asked the other about the conversation and the second said something along the lines of “I don’t know, the Jedi really are quite mysterious”, referring to Dooku.
But.... they do call him Tyranus and never disclose that they are communicating with him to the other Jedi. They know enough about his deviousness to peddle lies for him consciously. They insist they were hired by Sifo-Dyas who is dead and never mention the very living Tyranus they're constantly in communication with
@@davidcatabui2018 How are they supposed to know that Tyranus isn’t a Jedi name? Iirc, Jango mentioned Tyranus first. If they believed they were contracted by Sifo-Dyas, and then Tyranus contacted Jango to be the “model” for them, it’s not entirely unreasonable that he then became the frontman for them. Jango definitely knew, but it doesn’t mean they did. They didn’t disclose it because Dooku told them not to. He’s the face of the contract. They actually mentioned it to him(I think, but he may have brought it up himself in the conversation) and he said (again, paraphrasing) that they cannot find out because it’s a safeguard against some members potentially going rogue and it loses its effectiveness if they’re aware of it. Why would he lie to them about that if they already knew? This is the exchange that prompted the Kaminoans to talk to each other about how strange the Jedi are.
@@Benrman right so given the conversation with Tyranus and their complicity in hiding his involvement, plus the events of the Fives arc, they obviously were in on some level of the plan but no one knew all the details except Sidious himself
@@davidcatabui2018 It sounded like they believed order 66 would only ever be used against individual rogue Jedi who were trying to overthrow the republic. It also sounded like they thought the Jedi were indeed who hired them and put that in solely as a safety measure. That sounds like they knew nothing of the plan to use the clones to commit genocide and launch a galaxy-wide coup.
I feel like the video should have been titled "Anakin is more honest with Yoda" because yoda, an 800 year old jedi, respecting the personal space of a young, clearly conflicted psychic, couldnt with a clear heart, push anakin into telling him something he clearly didnt want to share.
Darth Jar Jar could testify that Palpatine murdered his original body and had to permanently possess the Gungan as his spirit's new host. Anyway it was Maul that killed Palpy so the Jedi's clear as they were still discussing how Palpy's going to be tried in court.
As obi-wan,wendu, and Yoda were meeting with the chancellor mule busted in and attacked. While trying to fend off mule palpatine was struck down by mule. Putting all blame on mule
I like to think Maul killing Sidious, finally getting the revenge he so craved, would satiate him entirely. He was free, with no Sith, Maul would tell the Jedi he'd take the fall for them as a way to make amends for his past, as well as exposing Palpatine as the orchestrator of the Clone War. The Senate would find Maul guilty of treason initially, but after viewing and hearing all the evidence of Palpatine basically causing all these problems to begin with, Maul would be sentenced to be looked over by the Jedi instead of being executed. Maul would learn to let go of his anger, and live a peaceful life, not as a Jedi, but as a free man. Obi-Wan would also become an uncle to Luke and Leia, whereas Ahsoka would be the fun Aunt. Anakin and Maul even talked for a bit, and Maul who refused to use the Dark Side ever again would explain to not only Luke and Leia but all Younglings how while the Dark side can grant you immense power in times of need, it will also take everything from you in return, you lose yourself, your friends, your family, and most importantly, your purpose.
good story line but ... perhaps redemption for maul after his encounter with yoda .... but i feel that due in no small part to their service and Kenobi testimony....the death sentence would not have been handed out and after the chips and there true agenda had been revealed...it would have been seen as a justifiable act ...that effectively palatine was planning the mass execution of the Jedi... it seems more plausible that Jedi and republic would have gone their own way ... with maul going with them after a little convincing from yoda they would probably go to ilum the Jedi home world ... where Maul would embrace the light side with a purple double bladed lightsabre and Asoka would return
What if Mace and Yoda had a plan for Anakin thats why he didnt get the rank of Master? Like they want him to find out who really the sith lord is, if he suceeds, he will be granted showing that he now deserves it
so my only problem with this ending is i think after all the leaders of the jedi council killed palps all the blame for the war would fall on the jedi as a whole and it would end with the jedi order being forcibly disbanded by the republic which would completely invalidate the sacrifices of the jedi leaders in order to save the order. think about it not only would you have all the leaders apparently assassinating the leader of the republic but the leader of the cis count dooku was also a former jedi leader and they are also teaming up with maul who was at the start of this whole thing. if i was on the republic senate id think the jedi orchestrated the whole war in order to seize control of the republic and immediately move to disband the jedi order and ban being a jedi entirely.
I think that if Palpatine suspected someone was on to him that he would have left to an outer region and not left even the slightest indication of where he went. So he could build a temple of Sith to fight the Jedi, because if the Jedi knew he was a Sith, they would be very likely to get the Senate on their side before Palpatine could gain absolute power.
@@marktynan6045 That was for the Lord of the Sith. It was common for them to train groups of assassins. At least in all the Star Wars books that were canon for decades, before the Disneypocalypse came and destroyed worlds of lore.
Disagree on the spying thing. When Anakin says they want him to spy on Palpatine Obiwan just needed to say "No, we don't need you to spy on him. We trust you to come to us if you think we're needed". Now Anakin isn't only being asked to betray someone who was always kind to him, but he's told that he's valued and trusted.
I could see an entire book written on the grand trial of the Jedi masters alone, an intriguing idea. I see both Anakin and Maul as reformists, now seeking to evolve their respective disciplines and teachings. Both have their struggles however, one having to repair the relations between the Jedi and the republic as well as dealing with traditionalist jedi and a now dangourously ambitious Tarkin who's growing frustration with the current events birth visions of a more "efficient" government. While the other risks heresey to spread his own teachings of the dark side (like the revival of cobra kai in the early seasons).
I'd like to think that maul would be redeemed and then put on probation after what he's done in the clone wars and the Phantom menace by serving a prison sentence of 50 years at most
@@starwarsquill you know what that’s completely understandable and I apologise for being so impatient but hey I wouldn’t mind if it was in parts and I’m sure nobody else would mind either
After the bisected Palpatine falls from the window, we cut forward a few years to find a half man half machine Palpatine invading Mandalore to become its ruler.
This is awesome!
Yea, Plo would be the best choice imo :)

Alright I'm done
Feel free to fact check and prove me wrong or right about the dark side harming the force
Thanks in advance
Note: the reason why I think maul would make a peaceful dark order instead of a sith order is because he learned what wanting power from the dark side will do to someone.

There are several things to consider:
- The Jedi Masters, Anakin and Maul stand before the Senate and reveal all they learned about Palpatine's orchestrations and plans before the Senators, who in turn Pardoned the Jedi and Maul from the Assasination since they, in the end, acted to protect the Republic from a terrible threat that worked to Undermine them from within (even if Maul didn't do so for that reason) although the Jedi were forced to remove their HQ from Coruscant to Thyton even if they can still opperate in the Planet, and forced Maul (who was after all, a Criminal) away from the Core, returning to Obah Diah to keep forming his Criminal Empire that will opperate in the Outer Rim (although the Jedi will have him as a Special Asset who can Assist them when it comes of dealing with Criminal Underground Groups and Sith Related Relics and Worlds)
- Anakin will reveal about his Marriage to Padme to the Jedi Council but because of circumstances around the situation with Sidious and his key role in the Order itself, The Council decides to keep Anakin as part of the Jedi Order and made him a Master (and later on becomes more an Scholar making a lot of studies about the Force and Galactic History while not abandoning his amazing skills both an Ace Pilot and Engineer). Luke become one of the most Prodigial Knights in Order and Leia as she become an Adult decide to partially leave the Jedi Order in order to pursue Politics and become the main Representative of the Jedi Order in the fully reformed Galactic Senate
- Considering how close the Jedi Order was to fall to Palpatine and how much they Strayed away from the Original Teachings of the Jedi of Old and after learning from experiences like Anakin Marriage about how Attachments serve as a way to keep a person in the Light if they manage to keep emotions in check and stay resolute to the cause, the Jedi decided to make changes to the Jedi Code, allowing attachments in the Order. Also they decided to expand beyond the Core and opperate several Academies in the Galaxy
- Also, The Republic realizes how much they let themselves be corupted and molded to one's liking thank to the Actions of Palpatine, his Inner Circle, and his Sith Predecessors (as more evidence of the actions of the Sith get discovered) partially because of the Russan Reformation made them so vulnerable in the end as well as the fact the there are many Posibilities of Future Threats (Such as the Yuthzan Vong and the Dark Nest Crisis). So the Republic System was fully reformed and the Republic Military reconstructed to something similar to how it was in the days of the Old Republic so they would be better prepared for everithing that might come as well as making preparations to Expand their influence outside of the Core
- Many of the Clones, after a complete removal of their Inhibitor Chips, discovering a way to slow their Aging and taking the Leadership of Kamino into custody for their colaboration with the Sith; decided to stay in the GAR in order to train the Newest Generation of Clones as well as Natborns that started to fill the Ranks after the many changes of the Republic Military. Others left to stay with the Jedi as their personal Security Forces while other follow Jango's steps and enter the Bounty Hunting world. A few years Later the Production of Clones of Jango's line will be fully Halted (because of lack of Material) and the Cloning Facilities will be Shut down until new Clones would be ever needed again and many Clones decided to Freeze themselves so if the Republic needs them again, they will Return to fight once more joined by Clones from other templates in future wars
- Many decades into the Future we'll see Palpatine (who returns to life in the Unknown Regions thanks to a Ritual and realizing that the Republic and the Jedi were more prepared to deal with the Machinations of the Sith and with the Republic Military as Strong as ever) return once more into the Galaxy now with a New Sith Army he constructed in secret to wage open war against the Republic since the Grand Plan was completely foiled and there was no way he could corrupt it again. But he will be finally defeated by Anakin Skywalker (now the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order) fufilling the Prophecy of the Chosen One for good
This new army should be called the grand army of light
It's worth noting, jedi were originally allowed to have relationships and marriages, it usually required they don't ever work with their lovers for well, the same reason you don't let soldiers or police work with theirs.
@@rexex345there's even a current Grandmaster who's married

"Yoosha Ani have bombad dark side powah Ani....yoosha become powerful Sith Lord!"
"Ooppsie, mesa make big messup"

Maul takes the blame for Palpatine's death and the Jedi are there to try to stop Maul from killing Palpatine.
It was Captain Tarpals who was the Sith. The story does leave one question and that question is who would tell the Senate they went rogue considering that everyone who was in on the plan was directly involved?
Darth jar jar would’ve been an awesome plot twist 38:04
44:10 Mace: "I'll go and you can say I went rogue"
Maul: "If I go with you you'll be more likely to succeed and it'll be more believable that you went rogue."
Yoda: "Go with you as well I will, I am old and must protect the order."
What Everyone should have said: "Grand master, with all due respect, having the public and official leader of the order go when we're planning to deny official involvement is a terrible idea.

How did Palpatine tell Anakin about Darth Plagueis if they stopped him from going to speak to Ashoka
That was after the Plagueis part. Palpatine tells the Plagueis story when he calls over Anakin to inform him that they know where Grievous is hiding. Later Mace Windu sends Anakin to go tell Palatine of Obi Wan defeating Grievous and thats when he’s called back here. :)
Short answer is that Revenge Of The Sith was made over a decade before Ahsoka was introduced into the Star Wars universe.

Its kinda annoying that in any situation where a person has a vision. The vision itself directly causes what happens in the vision to come true.
The death jar jar shit has me dying dude great story

this would make a good movie in its own.
i see the jedi turning themselves in and maul excaping i also beleive the jedi would be able to negotiate a pardon because many of the senators would realize that they needed the jedi to bring order back.
maul would go into hiding eventually making his own sith order wich could eventually be made into a black ops group by the senate.
ahsoka would continue to work with the mandalorians for a while untill she has a falling out with their warrior ways and would become a nomad monk occasionally working with the jedi or even maul new death march.
anakin might retire and live his live with padme, luke and leia occasionally returning to help old friends.
yoda would probily retire aswell to dagoba to live out the rest of his life in peace.
mace would rise in power among the jedi and his beleifs would be more accepted creating more purple weilding knights
obiwan similar to mace would rise in power but eventually become a white jedi seeking to balance his own demons and teach other jedi the same
these are just my predictions
And then go "investigate" the assasination only to find out Palpatine was actually planning to kill the jedi order to consolidate his power in the senate as a dictator without obstruction from the Jedi, and then finally reveal he was a Sith lord and maul killed his master as Sith do."
No need to get them all arested for it.
Lmao the Darth Jar Jar stuff cracked me up
Why didn’t Obi-Wan use force speed to get through the red shield doors?
Wow, nice video Quill

One thing I hate about the Jedi council is what they did to anakin which was holding back his power, not helping him on his path as the chosen one, and just treating him like an outcast all because he had a connections or being to old. All Anakin's premonitions were 100% accurate. So, yeah... that'd be something that Anakin was aware of and feared.
A few problems with the basis for this
1. The "visions" were created by Palpatine
Thanks :) Can you please cite the source for the visions being made by Palpatine? I couldn’t find any reliable sources on that while writing this :/
"Anakin deciding to help himself" is more accurate then the saying "Yoda actually deciding to help Anakin".

Everything would be solved if the Jedi didn’t basically treat Anakin like a boomer calling a zoomer a snowflake.

Thanks, John :) Means a lot to me :)
If you believe that you need to read the books surrounding the movies which were canon when the movie was made Palpatine was manipulating Anakin using the the force
@@marktynan6045 I was more referring to the amount of thorough behind, not weather or not it was entirely accurate to cannon.
This is what I would do as a teacher as well. :)
New sub! I like how you break down the scenario step by step. I like Star wars theory but he doesnt go into so much detail.
I’m glad you liked it, man :)
What the Jedi needed was not more power. It was common sense and acceptance of normal emotion.
Better than anything Jar Jar Abrams came up with.
Jedi Master Maul!
good story line but ... perhaps redemption for maul after his encounter with yoda .... but i feel that due in no small part to their service and Kenobi testimony....the death sentence would not have been handed out and after the chips and there true agenda had been revealed...it would have been seen as a justifiable act ...that effectively palatine was planning the mass execution of the Jedi... it seems more plausible that Jedi and republic would have gone their own way ... with maul going with them after a little convincing from yoda they would probably go to ilum the Jedi home world ... where Maul would embrace the light side with a purple double bladed lightsabre and Asoka would return
He likely activated order 65 on Fives…
You need to read up on the rule of two
@@marktynan6045 That was for the Lord of the Sith.
Oh.... Should definitely have been Darth Jar-Jar...
Yoda did try to help, but Anakin didn't tell the truth. So naturally, it's his own fault.
So Maul just stole the chosen one prophecy here
I could see an entire book written on the grand trial of the Jedi masters alone, an intriguing idea.
I'd like to think that maul would be redeemed and then put on probation after what he's done in the clone wars and the Phantom menace by serving a prison sentence of 50 years at most
Darth maul killed Palpateen and the Jedi agree that he snuck in and escaped before they could do anything
It’s been four months where is the epilogue my dude we’re all waiting for the conclusion of this story and in all honesty I can’t wait
Got a little too busy in the past few months. I’m thinking maybe I should turn the epilogue into a sort of part 2….
"What if X character did X, the Jedi win!"- Channel
What if Darth Maul was the main villain of Star Wars instead of Palpatine, and Anakin never turns to the dark side?
