I have like the total reverse mindset where I hate wasting money but I love spending money. So I feel the need to use everything I buy and I hate throwing anything away. I find a way to use it
I’m decluttering too. Not as much as I should. But. Some friends asked for some things, so I’m just going to declutter things from every category as well and letting them pick a full face (or close to it)(obviously my deeper skin toned friends can’t take any foundation). So many people are getting rid of their kaleidos palettes 😭 one day I will get my hands on one. Lol But I 100% appreciate that you are only keeping what truly makes you happy. I just see palettes and go “ohh so pretty...shiny 🤤” and just love them. Everything else is so much easier for me to pass on. But I am getting rid of some this time around. I have a few brand new ones from Boxy and Ipsy that I know I won’t end up using. Since things are so insanely tight right now, I can’t buy gifts for friends this year. (My kids are only getting two a piece) (everything has just gone up so fast it’s been a slap in the face for this widow)(even rent was hiked up by $100, let alone everything else😭) I had to even cancel boxy and Ipsy. Even just the 12$ bag. I almost cried. I know that sounds silly and stupid. But that was the only thing I did for myself. But my kids come first. We have to eat and have a roof over our heads. I should just have my daughter just take all my stuff and repack all the bags and give me a “new” bag every month 😂🤣 she’s 12 and would have a blast. Bet she could even get her brothers to help. The eldest at least knows how special it was to me. I can see them spending a whole rainy day doing it. Lol

Omggg, I can't even IMAGINE getting rid of my makeup!! Possibly cause I have very little of it, but I have problems de-cluttering in general 😂😂 Even old expired lipsticks, I feel like I'll use them for art projects or something 🙈
One of the best decluttering videos I've seen! You Kept things that made you happy/ that you actually use. But also were very strict about what you did and didn't need. It proves to me and others that we can appreciate what we have and not feel pressured to buy everything. Thank you for sharing and inspiring all of us to do a decluttering of our own.

I also hate waste -- is there anything you can do with decluttered makeup products? Wish they could be recycled somehow, particularly those that have been barely used or just swatched.

Yasss I was pissed and freaking out when they discontinued the Bold Palette.. then had the nerve to misplace it for the Face Palette. Powdery Blush & the Highlighter… THEY TRIED.. but to me it’s not the same quality as the OG & regular ones. Me yelling @ my phone: Keep The Luck Palette… it was hell getting it (Online and store… for me 🤣) So far you’re doing good. Me: you got rid of all the good things 🥴🤣🤣🤣 Great job! I have never tried Milani makeup. When I was first getting into makeup, drugstore makeup was not great. But just tried the mad for mattes palette by elf and the shades were smoother and more pigmented than any of the palettes in my collection. I even used it for bronzer and was amazed how it blended in. Will definitely be trying more drugstore!! 😁langleyscout
This is literally jaw dropping its like heaven full of beauty products I really love this type of videos this gives me an oddly satisfying feeling whenever I watch but be more greatful to win and receive the price I dont have much makeups to play with and still practicing my makeup skills this will be really helpful to build a lot more confidence in me
Your declutters have been some of the most brutal ones I have seen on YT lately. I recently decluttered my collection, too. It's sad to get rid of things once loved. But, it's best to only keep what's being used.
When I did this I gave myself an arbitrary limit. 15. I dont need more and even then thats a lot. I think I’ll stick to that number as well if I buy something….meaning something else has to go. I was just being wasteful and collecting pretty things for the sake of it and now I am actually using what I really love because I was forced to bring that to the forefront.
