Yeah Shindong has a show called ShindongGayo, and this is just a special episode where it is showcasing the talent of rookie idol groups :) I'm glad Shindong did this :) And I'm glad that Shindong got YooA from Oh My Girl, cause we all know how amazingly talented dancers they are.

This show is so so wholesome. Healthy competition and interaction between groups. Ugh this is as fun as the variety shows that got cancelled in 2013 where second and third gen groups just had fun together and no one mad dit an issue. Hopefully this generation of idols define that again.

Rocket Punch, ONEUS and OnlyOneOf were the stand out groups. Rocket Punch were awesome, the bad ass concept and song choice showcases their dancing skills.

Congrats for Rocket Punch too as MVP winner. Anyways, this program is so sweet. They treated each idol nice and equally. And no evil edited scene. Hope others competition program will be like this.

ONEUS humble kings. I don't feel quite good seeing other idols almost blocking Hwanwoong while he dances and how him and Keonhee are not up for the spotlight infront but that just shows how they are not up for the competition. They just want to have fun.
Oneus is leading so far, Hwanwoong is always great with his fluid dance and expression. No wonder cameraman loves to catch him even he's not in the center.

Side point - around 17:50 when Cherry Bullet get down on the floor, did ya'll see how OnlyOneOf (who's the closest to being directly in line with looking up the girls skirts) immediately all keep jamming but turn their heads towards Oneus? And basically don't look back until the girls get up? What gentlemen these guys are. And Oneus (who are more behind the girls where they wouldn't see anything appropriate) seem to catch on quick and purposefully look back at OnlyOneOf while the girls are on the floor. I'm 99% sure these girls are probably wearing something that covers their underwear under their skirts (like cheerleaders do) but both groups were still so respectful by doing this. Props to them.

Sooo true! Music shows back then also allowed idols to cover an opponent's song and vice versa. Missing the old times, kpop nowadays is too toxic where only the top groups are that matters. Idol variety shows have also decreased and there's less interactions especially from the top groups.

I agree with shindong. Many people said that fast dance is harder than slow dance but it's not actually. Slow dance like song My house 2 pm is hard because you have to had a good control of your body. Not too fast, not too slow. Many great dancer said this in their lesson. Yeokshi from Shindong. That's why Seventeen's song like "Don't wanna cry" is hard. The control is important. And to get it synchronized, it really need a great practice
Did we just get a cute friendship moment of ONEUS and VERIVERY before RTK Btw to those who don't know ONEUS and VERIVERY debuted the same year and date(09/01/2019),so like there is nothing like junior and senior. I love their friendship, hope we got more of it in RTK
usually, during dance covers battles, it's usually the people on the front that catches attention, so I'm really happy that the producers and production team was fair and square and looked not just at the front but also the sidelines. This programme's team deserve to produce and be on charge of other programmes as well.

Rocket Punchs’ moves were sharp and clean. They only took the center once during Random Dance but they’re noticeable even when they’re dancing on the side. They are indeed, a group of all rounders. Oneus are so charismatic. They’re so refreshing to the eyes. I don’t see many idols covering My House but they nailed it. I really like these groups maybe because I already have my eyes on them bc of produce, they were my pick. Anyway they did really good. Is this show going to continue? I really think it’s a good show for idols to interact with each other, show their talents to the public and also, for them to have fun.

love this show. back then we have 'star dance battle', similar to this. theres no complications or drama just idols dancing and having a great time TOGETHER. i can't take my eyes off suyun when she's dancing. her movements are powerful and precise. i love how she express every dance moves so perfectly for any bg/gg song. yes, everyone else is great and extra funny too lmao but im just saying that when i look at suyun, it feels great to watch her dance! im happy she's enjoying this since she loves dancing so much uwu
I love how Oneus and OnlyOneOf show respect to Cherry Bullet’s performance. The part where girls have to go down on a floor and due to their short skirts. Oneus and OnlyOneOf didn’t look at girls since their skirts are pointing towards them so they kept looking at each other. Congratulations my girls!!!!! All groups did great. I agree with the MCs that blue haired Leedo stood out the most. I also like the maknae of Rocket Punch and also the leader. I also thought that Verivery could have chosen a more powerful EXO song so they could show more of theie abilities.
You don't need a powerful song to show off your abilities I can say from an experience of 10 years in dance that dancing is also about the details like synchronization or knowing when to be sharp or when to go smooth Because the song was a great choice they just didn't execute it as well as it could've been Disclaimer: I'm not saying that the performance was bad they are very good dancers
Came here for Oneus, then fell in love with Rocket Punch & OnlyOneOf. :)) Both groups made me focus on their cover dance since it was executed so so well and they really moved as a "group", if that made sense. I know it's a competition but I really don't understand why some of them had to fight to be in front all the time during the random dance segment, I'm pretty sure the judges also took note of the fact that some didn't follow the white platforms and just barged in front and covered the others. In the end they were too distracted in wanting to be center front to focus on the real challenge & didn't execute the dances as well as they could've. Oneus & Rocket Punch really deserved those wins respectively, congrats!!

Just healthy competition! I think overall in terms of dancing technique all the groups are REALLY good. But I see why Oneus & Rocket Punch won this episode. Their stage presence is different. And the song choice is good too. Elris did a good job covering Gfriend, really hard steps there. Veryvery’s cover of EXO was actually good too but they kinda lack the energy of EXO when they perform. OnlyOneOf was awesome as well! You cover Shinee, you’re really good. Cherry Bullet has really good dancers. I hope they can cover dances with harder choreography and showcase more of their skills.

Just my observation on why they might’ve lost focus during the random play hehe :3 I think they all did really well too, they’re all talented rookies, but I feel like verivery, elris & cherry bullet played it safe with their song choices. A lot of idol/trainee groups already covered those 3 songs & I can name others who did better covers. & I can also name other covers these 3 groups have done in the past that were much better than the one they did here. (Esp verivery since I do watch their vids constantly.) They did all execute it well, but I can’t see their spin on it or something that showed their individuality from the og group who sang the song. :)) Also, OnlyOneOf is the group who covered Sherlock, ONF (On&Off) is actually a different group, but I see why it’s confusing. Shinee songs are hella hard to cover well so I was really impressed by how they changed the formation to fit them & how their personality shines through. So yeah, I hope all the groups who competed continue to grow as idols & get the recognition they deserve.^^

It's been a decade since girl groups and boy groups in one show drooling and supporting each other! I didn't know my fave groups: Rocket Punch and ONEUS joined this show ㅠㅠ now I can watch ONEUS on DI and RTK! Congrats to RCPC, they gained a bunch of new fans after this!
Don't think they will add Eunbi. She will probably become soloist. Also 7 is perfect amount of members. Its easy to arrange choreos where everyone is showcased and nobody is hidden behind all the time.
RP is the group who will gain most from Iz*one's end. Chaewon and Eunbi are all rounder idols as well. Good visuals, can sing well and can dance well. The other group that will gain is Everglow if they add Yena. The future is bright for kpop as always.
So proud of RoPun. And as per themselves, they are all-round girl group and it shows. Also, they are so humble. Looking on how they danced just on the sides until Ah-choo because who would cover Lovelyz song better than them. Haha. You deserve the MVP title. To more trophies.

I agree with shindong. Many people said that fast dance is harder than slow dance but it's not actually. Slow dance like song My house 2 pm is hard because you have to had a good control of your body. Not too fast, not too slow.

usually, during dance covers battles, it's usually the people on the front that catches attention, so I'm really happy that the producers and production team was fair and square and looked not just at the front but also the sidelines. This programme's team deserve to produce and be on charge of other programmes as well.
This show have better environment and vibes than Road to Kingdom. Poor ONEUS & VERIVERY to experience such a depressing and intense moments in RTK.

Rocket Punchs’ moves were sharp and clean. They only took the center once during Random Dance but they’re noticeable even when they’re dancing on the side. They are indeed, a group of all rounders.
Oneus are so charismatic. They’re so refreshing to the eyes. I don’t see many idols covering My House but they nailed it.
I really like these groups maybe because I already have my eyes on them bc of produce, they were my pick.
Anyway they did really good. Is this show going to continue? I really think it’s a good show for idols to interact with each other, show their talents to the public and also, for them to have fun.

love this show. back then we have 'star dance battle', similar to this. theres no complications or drama just idols dancing and having a great time TOGETHER.

All groups did great. I agree with the MCs that blue haired Leedo stood out the most. I also like the maknae of Rocket Punch and also the leader. I also thought that Verivery could have chosen a more powerful EXO song so they could show more of theie abilities.

Came here for Oneus, then fell in love with Rocket Punch & OnlyOneOf. :)) Both groups made me focus on their cover dance since it was executed so so well and they really moved as a "group", if that made sense. I know it's a competition but I really don't understand why some of them had to fight to be in front all the time during the random dance segment, I'm pretty sure the judges also took note of the fact that some didn't follow the white platforms and just barged in front and covered the others. In the end they were too distracted in wanting to be center front to focus on the real challenge & didn't execute the dances as well as they could've. Oneus & Rocket Punch really deserved those wins respectively, congrats!!

Just healthy competition! I think overall in terms of dancing technique all the groups are REALLY good. But I see why Oneus & Rocket Punch won this episode. Their stage presence is different. And the song choice is good too. Elris did a good job covering Gfriend, really hard steps there. Veryvery’s cover of EXO was actually good too but they kinda lack the energy of EXO when they perform. OnlyOneOf was awesome as well! You cover Shinee, you’re really good. Cherry Bullet has really good dancers. I hope they can cover dances with harder choreography and showcase more of their skills.

Just my observation on why they might’ve lost focus during the random play hehe :3 I think they all did really well too, they’re all talented rookies, but I feel like verivery, elris & cherry bullet played it safe with their song choices. A lot of idol/trainee groups already covered those 3 songs & I can name others who did better covers. & I can also name other covers these 3 groups have done in the past that were much better than the one they did here. (Esp verivery since I do watch their vids constantly.) They did all execute it well, but I can’t see their spin on it or something that showed their individuality from the og group who sang the song. :)) Also, OnlyOneOf is the group who covered Sherlock, ONF (On&Off) is actually a different group, but I see why it’s confusing. Shinee songs are hella hard to cover well so I was really impressed by how they changed the formation to fit them & how their personality shines through. So yeah, I hope all the groups who competed continue to grow as idols & get the recognition they deserve.^^

RP is the group who will gain most from Iz*one's end. Chaewon and Eunbi are all rounder idols as well. Good visuals, can sing well and can dance well. The other group that will gain is Everglow if they add Yena. The future is bright for kpop as always.
