That's what I have been saying to every upset deobi and to moon since yesterday. Emotional value of a performance is always incomparable. This and spring snow x shine will be my favourites of the show no matter what rankings cuz they were the most meaningful stages. They were crafted not for competition but for our hearts.

Ptgxonf won their first ever first in anything. For the first time ptg was something beyond "shine" and onf was applauded as a group after working hard for nearly 4-5 years.

Honestly tho!! Kingdom is just so toxic compared to Road To Kingdom and i thought Road To Kingdom was stressful back then but lmao no...this show was better compared to Kingdom in my opinion...from interactions to performances. Not dragging the groups from Kingdom down but seeing this performance makes me feel like this was the most wholesome thing ever...hoping for groups on Kingdom to do performances like this :D

*Regardless the result The Boyz were so proud and content for this performance. The members said they cried watching this, Kevin said all the members cried, Jacob said he cried so hard seeing how happy Q was dancing on stage he saw his smile and how happy he looked. After the performance Q came to their waiting room and cried. They just feel all sort of emotions for this performance and said Oneus help them a lot. For me this is definitely one of the best performance on RTK. This stage just broke all the competitiveness and showed they are one. They all have the same goal they all just wanted to be known, wanted to perform on the stage. That’s their happiness.*
They not trying to win over anyone. This show is about everybody else. About every idol. They just wanted to deliver the best performance. And this one I will consider as legendary stage whom I will remember for a long time.

i feel like Sunwoo paid tribute to Golden Child because when Ravn and Sunwoo were sitting at the stairs and were really tired, Sunwoo encouraged him to go on and that THE SHOW MUST GO ON so even if Sunwoo(Golden Child) left and others are sad,the show has to go on no matter what and at the end it's like Golden Child are encouraging them " YOU MUST GO ON"

before this performance, TOO never heard their fanchants. they debuted during the quarantine and performed in empty stages because music shows werent allowing fans to view. this is the first time they heard fans chant their group names since their debut.

oh i hate them since a long time ago but i love their shows helppp
I was stressed out watching Kingdom and seeing fanwars left and right when knowing the idols are actually friends together. And so i came here and it just made me cry...why can't we praise our faves without dragging down other groups? Why must we always prioritize competitions and rankings? Why must u throw hate at a group for getting better results than ur faves? Please stop all of this and lets just enjoy the beauty of kpop without hating on anybody, because no one deserves to get hate for doing the things they like and enjoy T^T
pls when i watched this performance for the first time a few weeks ago i legit cried (i still am crying lol) b/c of the same reasons as you stated. i wish more ppl can see this performance and realize that instead of constantly 1v1-ing each other, we should ALL BECOME ONE.

Spending hours in a room composing music, banging their heads against a wall trying to come up with something new.
Being able to be close to family only through a phone call.
Them singing in front of people judging their every note.
Relentlessly dance practicing in front of the mirror till you cant stand anymore.
When they were sitting in front of the vanities and tried to get up, but were not allowed cause they have to look PERFECT.
People choosing their styles, molding them, playing dress up with them like they are dolls.
Being measured to have the perfect measurements.
And then being exhausted, feeling like they cant breathe, but they hear their fans chant their names, they rely on the members that are going through the same and support each other, and the members that are no longer with them, and finding the strength to get back on that stage, because the show must go on.
I feel sorry for the people who watched this and really got nothing from it. Idols usually suffer so much in silence, i'm glad that at least through their art, they were able to express themselves

이 무대를 처음 볼때를 잊을수가 없음.. 선우가 연습생 역할을 했다는 그런 연출이 너무 마음 아팠지만 아이디어는 되게 좋았고, 코로나로 팬들을 직접 못 볼때인데 전 출연자분들의 팬분들 응원 소리와 마지막에 모든 출연자 이름을 넣은건 진짜 미쳤다고 생각함.. 마지막에 ’You must go on‘ 부르는 사람에 선우도 있는거 보고 우리는 어떤 길에 서있게 된다해도 앞으로 나아갈거라는 내용인것 같아서 너무 여운이 깊었음. 아직도 주기적으로 무대위에서 행복하게 춤추는 지창민 얼굴이 생각나서 댓글 쓰고 갑니다! 무대위에서는 자신을 좋아해주는 팬들을 위해 열심히 노력해주시는 모든 아트스트들이 그 무대의 주인공이라는거 잊지않기를..
This sounded like it could be the show's ending song. Its giving off that closing scene vibes where the winner is declared yet everyone enjoyed the show and is celebrating.

On the first round ONEUS made a performance that has a very strong message about Bullying and they rank last, now The Boyz x ONEUS performace showed a very meaningful message of Friendship and hardwork and again they rank last. THIS IS SO HEARTBREAKING

they changed the lyrics from “In a movie only for us // The real hero was you, baby” to “In a stage only for us // The real hero was me, baby” wow... it was really nice to see all of them have individual scenes where they shine while being together on the stage, where they shined even more as one. no matter the ranking, we can’t deny they portrayed true brotherhood and friendship which should be the greatest gain out of this show.
"The real hero was me" actually is a original lyric from the song, in the first part of the song says "The real hero was you" and then, in the second half sunmi realizes that the real hero is her.
I've been watching kingdom as I'm an ikon fan and I just stumbled across this performance today.
And honestly this performance beats every single performance in kingdom I've seen so far, almost everything about this show just screams 'toxicity' and most of the stages are over produced and many times just too much.
Isnt it funny how kingdom is supposed to have all the 'aces' and 'top dogs' yet this performance in RTK, where groups have to 'earn' their way to reach kingdom, beats them all, how ironic.
Anyways what a beautiful and emotional performance, the message is heartbreaking

this is the first performance in the whole show that had me tearing up. watching this performance made me realise the importance of friendship and teamwork, instead of the greed and resentment for another team. they did such a fantastic job at portraying the hardships they go through to deliver all these phenomenal performances, and the importance of never leaving anyone behind despite them falling behind. thank you kings, y'all served.

1.)I cried like a baby for Ptg's performance for Jinho last week.
2.) I cried in golcha's perf too because of their theme(artist dies two deaths. One where he cannot make music and other when he actually dies. And the first is more painful.) It reminded me of Hwall for some reason.
3.) I cried for this performance. All of the artists' cried watching all these performances.

haze kim the fact that sunwoo performed heroine and Shangri-la with his injured knee, and he had worn a knee brace after previous performances .. This kid is trying to look strong and perform perfectly but that makes me cry badly THEY HAVE TO STOP HURTING THEMSELVES

I feel like the groups on RTK are really risking it all, but I wish they wouldn't. In the introduction round, one of TOO members had a fractured rib and Kangmin from Verivery had a sprained ankle and now Sunwoo is hurt but yet they keep performing. I wish they would take care of themselves more like Wooseok from Pentagon. In their performances, he does minimal dancing and just focuses on acting to reduce any chances of his back injury worsening. Hella props to Sunwoo though, you couldn't tell anything was wrong in Shangri La.

@@nurulhabibah8151 Pretty sure it's supposed to represent the people who got eliminated and can't keep performing (so Golden Child) :( Also if we look at the performance like a representation of the journey of an idol he's also the other trainees and/or contestants they've left behind when they debuted and members they've lost. I know The Boyz lost Hwall and if you look at the other groups, most if not all, have either lost a member, are the winners of survival shows or both....
Respect for TBZ and ONEUS for taking risk choosing this song maybe not as famous as the other but they outdid out expectation and touched our hearts thank you for having a quality performance that will be remebered. And to The B and ToMoons thank you for your hardwork we rely on each other and made it. Let's rise higher :)

Today I feel so down, I feel sad.
Why some superficial people couldn't appreciate the real deep meaning of this performance?
Leaving family by the side, no sleep for days, practicing insanely daily, keep the strength even if people leave hate comments, attend to shows without a rest, not having a normal life because you are an idol, being pressured because you have to be perfect physically, they have to keep their feelings in, they have to be quiet... that is what an idol is about.
All of this was summed up in a rap that made us cry because they showed up their souls on it, with a dance that shouted out loud what their heart and mind had to suffer since their debut.
Fortunately, there is a sweet side that makes them go on: the support of their fans who appreciate all the progress they do by hearing those fanchats as the background in this presentation. They also showed the brotherhood, support between each other, they got their backs.
They did great, even if they did not have 1st place, which PTG and ONF won and they deserved it, I'm so proud of our boyz, they are always in my heart. They not only made a performance, they told a whole story which all idols have passed by.
They are also representing all trainees who couldn't make it. The dream of being in a group is definitely risky and even though, they do it, giving and pouring their everything.
Unfortunately, there were hurtful losses when walking in this path, but still, they won our love since the moment they did their best just for us and they will have it till the end.
Life is like that. Sometimes you have to leave your comfort zone to fight for what you want with the possibilities of getting hurt in the way.
However, even if it is difficult...
THE SHOW MUST GO ON.
Edited: BTW, I'm not despising any performance, as a Deobi, I try to make us feel better because we love our group recognizing the hardworking and incredible presentation of the others participants, but you can't judge us for being sad because you would feel or you have felt the same when the group you stan looses. The rank really doesn't matter in this kind of performance, both Oneus and The Boyz did a great job and can be proud of themselves. They left behind something very meaningfull.

@@afiqahjohari6865 I understand. Even though I really love dark and edgy concepts myself...if everyone always does that it kinda loses it's impact after a while...and I think groups trying out something different shouldn't be punished for it.
I legitimately can't see why this performance didn't win. The emotion, the message, the two groups fitting amazingly together. Everything was perfectly beautiful. It just shows how versatile these groups are, can be broody one week and then emotional the next. And if I'm being honest, I feel like the other groups got a higher ranking because they chose popular songs from popular groups and stuck with the edgy concept, which can get old every once and awhile, or at least to me anyways. And then I feel like those fans of the popular groups just see the title of their favs song, freak out, and don't really give credit where it's due, if that makes sense. Don't get me wrong, the other collabs were great, but this one just did something to my soul lmao. The fanchants at the end were top tier. Idk, they may have not won first place, but they won a lot of ppl's hearts. OneBoyz, ya'll were great.

I came here honestly expecting a killer choreo but ended up getting so, so much more. This is the dream collab, it was beautiful: a clear and very relatable message for idols and honestly everyone, all the variations within the performance (going from one emotion to another), and the way they actually included everyone, even golden child.
I got chills.
I'm surprised as well. I really thought they will perform killer choreo like what The Boyz always do with heart warming story like how Oneus always do but with more The Boyz's influence. But I see a lot of Oneus's influence instead, with The Boyz's influence at the end.
The boyz themself wanted to do something different.
Both groups wanted to give a stage that's memorable for the audience and other participants. Even though ranking wasn't in favour of them, I'm sure both groups are satisfied with this performance, since they successfully delivered what they wanted.

I might’ve hated the show because of the elimination (and cuz my favourite group was out first) but still knew the other groups and I’m actually glad to know them through this show and lots of other things I learned about the groups and also the career itself that’s why gotta think from now on not just for me to know other groups but it must’ve also been a great opportunity for the groups to get close and also experience new things

I know you don't mean hates, but it sounds like you are saying that 'if the one who get eliminated first is not my fav, I would have not hate the elimination'. In fact, no one deserves to be eliminated, this elimination system is the worst thing Mnet has ever decided in the whole rules of Road To Kingdom. Just because our faves do not get eliminated first, it does not give us the reason to cherish over the nonsense system. Secret BxT thank u for ur feed back but i guess there’s a misunderstanding here cuz i said i hated the elimination ever since i knew there would be one cuz I’m a multistan as well and i love 4/7 of the groups there and was about to stan TOO too when i knew they were debuting and was excited for their survival show but couldn’t watch it since i have lots of studies but decided to watch this to support the ones i love and know more about TOO as well but ended up stanning all 7 groups at the end an d what I meant by my favourite group is because I thought their elimination was unfair and nothing else hope the misunderstanding is solved cuz really didn’t mean it in that way I’m still watching the performances but the whole show is kinda aching my heart cuz i loved jangjun and other golcha members interactions with the other idols but I’m I’ll actually keep watching it after my exams are over cuz I’m curious of how they came up with the ideas of the performances

when all the names of the groups appeared as they said the phrase "you must go on" i felt a tug in my heart. these groups are the underrated ones. Talented but because the attention is mostly on those coming from big/superior companies they don't receive the recognition they deserve. this performance is like a reminder to themselves and the other groups to never give up, their hard work will be paid off soon and even if it's difficult, "the show must go on"

I like to watch road to kingdom more than watch Kingdom.
It made me emotional when sunwoo didnt go on and dance in the last part because he was representing the trainees who never got to debut while their close ones did 3:09, and when all the performers seemed to be having fun during this performance 4:04. I read a comment saying something about them following Moonbyul's advice "Rather than trying to win over someone, I think it's more important to definitively show the colour of your group. Don't try to beat anyone. Rather come together as one because the only thing separating you from others is you being defined as a group." I think this is beautiful and so touching. I really hope the future survival shows follow this rather than doing it somewhat like kingdom.

They showed us the struggles that they went through just to be successful and with the group they're currently in. They may not win, but let's not stoop so low by dragging others down. This performance shows ALL of the groups' struggles just to put on smile for all of us. They ALL worked hard. No exemption. Not just for their family but for their fans. So SPREAD LOVE, not hate.

I wonder if you are an early gen2 Kpop stan, you’d feel this. Back then we have so many real deal collab stages, the vibe of Kpop back then was just like this stage. Geniune! You could feel that they truely support one another. Music back then was not based on views and counting online streamings. This stage is really showing a side that’s been missing in the recent Kpop industry.
