I wasn’t worried about my protein having been WFPB for 10 years but now I realize as a 63 year old distance runner - I think I could definitely increase by about 20 grams per day. That’s significant. At 1:11:15 question about concern of blood sugar spikes after eating high carb plant foods, Dr. McDougall has a whole video addressing this. In a nutshell he says blood sugar spikes after eating unrefined whole plant foods is normal and not bad, the body is doing what it is supposed to.
