    Love hardtails. Good choice on the evo engine...they're ranked as most reliable out of all the harley engines. I used to own a wishbone frame chopper with a 650 bonneville motor in it...and hated it. lol. I'd like to own one now and throw a sport bike engine into it.

    Had built a hardtail EVO but went back to a soft tail .
    I love long rides on my bobber but as i get older i feel the hardtail makes me take more breaks / stretch from the rough ride.
    I def would build another one for the short rides / bar hopper i used to call them.
    edited to add ... looks like i have a lot of vids to catch up on as i no longer get those notifications lol

    How much heavier is the stock Softail frame over the Santee frame? I have a '96 FXSTC and a '49 Pan chopper, and the chopper feels much lighter than the FXSTC. I'm thinking about using the Softail as a donor bike for another chopper project. I like your videos and watching you work!!

    • @TrevorCanToo
      @TrevorCanToo Год назад

      Lmaooooo survivor?????? What are you smoking. If this bike was rare you should of been upset with the build from the beginning because evn if he didn’t cut the frame, the value would be the exact same as any softtail frame. What ever made it rare to begin with vanished once he stripped the frame down 🤡

    • @TrevorCanToo
      @TrevorCanToo Год назад

      Also!, it was only the fender mounts that were cutoff. Alot of people are doing that nowadays anyways cause a fender looks alot better mounted up the old school way like a bob/chop.
