Very interested to see the conversion to chain, looks so much better IMHO and will always win againt rocks and stones flying up off the road, peace of mind 👍
Looking good! Also props to you for keeping a clean and well organized shop. I liked how you showed the cleanup between. Many people neglect this and get knee deep in trash.
Love hardtails. Good choice on the evo engine...they're ranked as most reliable out of all the harley engines. I used to own a wishbone frame chopper with a 650 bonneville motor in it...and hated it. lol. I'd like to own one now and throw a sport bike engine into it.
So jealous, I wish my bikes were that clean when I come to work on them and every nut and bolt came off without having to drill them out or cut them off because of the rain and salt that's eaten into them. Can't wait to see how it turns out 👍
Had built a hardtail EVO but went back to a soft tail . I love long rides on my bobber but as i get older i feel the hardtail makes me take more breaks / stretch from the rough ride. I def would build another one for the short rides / bar hopper i used to call them. edited to add ... looks like i have a lot of vids to catch up on as i no longer get those notifications lol
Saludos from Spain🍻
Nice work and thanks for sharing the process of building this bike... quick question: How do you set a budget to a project like this?? Cheers from chile!
How much heavier is the stock Softail frame over the Santee frame? I have a '96 FXSTC and a '49 Pan chopper, and the chopper feels much lighter than the FXSTC. I'm thinking about using the Softail as a donor bike for another chopper project. I like your videos and watching you work!!
Hello from Italy. I don't understand if you had a new chassis made with the same booklet, or you changed the booklet and chassis. That is another registration number.
*uses ridgid frame* This is gonna be my long ride road trip bike. *puts tiny tank on it too* This is so my long rides are never that long so my back can get a break.
It’s personally preference and I’m pretty particular on what I want. I like the clean lines of the rigid frame. I got a good deal on the new frame so I went with that route instead of hard tailing the stock one.
Lmaooooo survivor?????? What are you smoking. If this bike was rare you should of been upset with the build from the beginning because evn if he didn’t cut the frame, the value would be the exact same as any softtail frame. What ever made it rare to begin with vanished once he stripped the frame down 🤡
Also!, it was only the fender mounts that were cutoff. Alot of people are doing that nowadays anyways cause a fender looks alot better mounted up the old school way like a bob/chop.
@@TrevorCanToo I sold all the stock parts to people that really wanted them so it’s a win win for me. Made the bike a lot cheaper and made people happy
Diggin the old school style 👍from Montreal Quebec Canada 🇨🇦
Shop lights being turned on at start of video and then off at the end is a good touch. No one else does this
i have been watching your videos for decads im a really big fan
keep it going
Thank you so much!!
Gonna be sweet! Respects for being out the garage in this cold f'n weather we been having!
This is going to be ace. Nice one matey.
I love the video's and I love the workshop.
Thank you Paul!
Already looking awesome
Bro 805 and modelo are my favorite beers. Glad to see you support them too 😂

💥Looks great!!!
Great choice in the headlight change. Those triangle ones don’t light the road for shit. Can wait for this build!
Looking good! Also props to you for keeping a clean and well organized shop. I liked how you showed the cleanup between. Many people neglect this and get knee deep in trash.
I can’t stand not finding my tools when the garage is messy
I was waiting for this new build. Amazing job.
Kool 😎 can't wait to see the finished bike
Digging the style. from across the pond, from Singapore 👌🏽👌🏽
This build is going to be epic!
Dude!! That’ll look great!
Coming along nicely! Custom Dynamics makes straight replacement LED’s that plug right into the normal incandescent socket. Nice option to have.
Yea I’ve heard of them. I wanna place the LEDs where the hog’s eyes are. You know how it is, custom everything! Haha
U know what u r doing!!!🙏

Loving the build man, looks killer
Picking up a 2000 Honda Shadow Aero 1100 this weekend. PO already has it bobbed but looking forward to making it my own 🤙🏾
Hell yea I’m stoked for you
popcorns out, looking forward to ep3
You make it look so easy 👍🏼

Yea I’m grateful for sure. I also look for the cleanest stock bikes to chop so there’s no surprises later on. Start clean and end clean
Cool👍
Can not wait! Good job!
Looking good as allways!!:D
Thank you! Your build is looking fantastic as well
Saludos te va a quedar muy bonita,me diverti mucho👍👍👍👍👍
Sua moto está se transformando numa autêntica jóia, parabéns.
Really good video buddy
The bike is build for that air dynamic and the wind should just barely touch you. Today was a awesome day for riding
looks like your gonna make short work out of this one. awesome.

Love your work, style and attention to detail.
Thank you. A clean garage is a productive garage lol
What frame is it!?
CHINGONA! SALUDOS DESDE CD OBREGON SON MEXICO BROTHER!
Saludos carnal y que sigan los proyectos
That motorcycle is looking very cool, bro. Tail light detail looks great
Have you ever tried painting the tank military green?
Greetings from Mexico!
Cool, can't wait to see this bike finished! Btw why are you replacing the belt with a chain?
👍👍👍👍👍👍
wow looking good. i have a question. what kind of frame did you use??
Are you going with a springer, or the wide glide? Either way it's gonna be WICKED!!!!!! PEACE ✌️
Nice work and thanks for sharing the process of building this bike... quick question: How do you set a budget to a project like this?? Cheers from chile!
Good job bro, i like your videos, but watch out for the nissan please it's too close 😅

Dope! Man I miss customizing bikes. Don’t wanna just get a led brake replacement bulb?
I wanna run 2 of those LEDs I got. They’re a lot brighter in person
Also I wanna put the leds where the eyes are lol
I don't like the way the original socket sticks out of the back, gotta clean that up.
@@commentdeleted173 I agree. One of the reasons I’m switching to the other ones
Damn here early boi 🤘🏻
Glad to see that 21” front, gonna look sick, also where did the fender come from?
Lowbrow customs
@@LNSPLTBLVD i realy like you bike , do you have the exact part number of you fender ? sorry i will copy your bike lollll
where do you buy the tank, and what for type it is.
What did you end up doing with the old frame?
How did you get the belt off without removing the wheel or swingarm?
You had to cut it off. But why would you do that?
Looking good! What frame are you using for the build? I'm looking at replacing my old, broken Paughco ridged.
Santee
🤘😎🤘
Why'd you swap frames? Just curious. The angles seemed somewhat similar. New one does seem a lil smaller & probably lighter too.
What frame is that brother
What year is the Z car? 240/260? Fairlady?
Hello from Italy. I don't understand if you had a new chassis made with the same booklet, or you changed the booklet and chassis. That is another registration number.

Where did you get the frame?
From my friend John. The brand is Santee
What frame are you using?
Santee frame
Hey, Son you gonna sell the soft tail frame?
No, I’m keeping it just in case I ever get pulled over by the cops and they ask about the original frame. Just good insurance lol
That’s the bike you took on the campout?then had a lot of electrical problems correct? 14:31
