@@yourikhi The 13 should be even better then the 11. Being that I upgraded from a 6s to an 11, I’m more than happy to get shots with this while I save up for a camera.
Now do the same comparison but not with perfect light conditions... Photographer who knows what he is doing will do a great photos even with 500e/dolar phone. But with normal camera you are not only paying for photos under perfect light condition. You want to have more space to play with light. You want to have dedicated HW button for as much settings as possible so you wont miss the perfect shot. Smartphones definetly made a good progress over the years. But they are still very limited to a perfect conditions. If you are into photography and you have 1200e/dollars for the new iPhone just buy some new smartphone for 500 and 700 spend even on older camera. I think A6xxx line from Sony from second hand with 1 firs lens is much better deal than just spend 1200e/dollars every 2 years for a phone which full potential cant be used without other Apple products.
@@markloue9372 Almost got the hand photo wrong as well. The uneven smoothing of edges around the forearm finally gave it away for me. so 5/5 for me, yay!
i got them all right :) the blurring in weird places is a dead giveaway for iphone like the tips of the fingers in the sand one and the weird hair blur, but also hdr on the bushes was super obvious to me you had really strong sunlight and rain there's no way the leaves would be that flat on a real camera
Just found your channel, awesome stuff! We began our motovlog channel about 5 months ago and we are forever looking to increase our film making skills to add more substance to our videos. We've learned so much just from a few of your vids, looking forward to catching up on more of them. Greetings from Australia!
Not to brag, I got all correct, got into photography last year and phones can't light a candle to cameras. You can get HDR on camera, you just need to work more on it. To summarize DSLR/mirrorless- more work better results, phones- easier with good results.
I'm not even a photographer but it's quite obvious and it is probably even more for you whithout youtube compression and with a better screen than my old iPad
Nice job on the comparisons! Phones have much brighter screens these days & this is really important for taking photos on sunny days. Ever since I got an iPhone 7 I haven't been tempted to buy a camera again.
Wow I guessed them and all correct! (I'm still beginner to the "camera/photography world" Btw). For people who are not really familiar with camera, they probably can't even see the different. But for people who know more about the camera, they can see that the camera with bigger sensors has more detailed than the camera with smaller sensors. The Iphone pro is only has 1/2.5" Inch for the sensor size, but absolutely amazing for small sensor, almost equal with most of compact cameras or action cameras, while the Sony has either full frame or APS-C I guess? In my opinion(just my opinion though) no matter what gear/equipment do you have, the most important thing is good composition, especially in a bright daylight. That's the key to make a photo looks beautiful. Unless for lowlight, it needs better sensor I guess, but more lighting will helps for sure. I think with today's cameras with at least have 1/2.5" Or 1/2.3" Sensor size, are enough to make really good photos. Composition is the key. Just thoughts. Very nice video! Thanks for sharing! Keep the good work!
iPhone is okay, but I seen what can be achieved on Chinese phones with their big sensors and 5 times zoom, when you got 120mm to play with on a phone and a larger than usual sensor, a lot of depth of field can actually be achieved surprisingly. Galaxy S21U and S22 Ultra are both using SUPER tiny sensors on their telephoto, so it looks surprisingly a lot worse than a 5 times zoom.
i knew all the photos that they were taken by the iPhone, because at the start of the video you were holding the camera with your right hand and the iPhone with the left hand , so all the photos with the iPhone had more view to the left and the camera had more view the the right hahahah
Hi Brother how are you, I believe you are good and doing great. Always love to watch your videos I thank you for your teaching. Please suggest best video editing software which is free.
to be honest, it wasn't difficult to see where the Sony is and where the iPhone is because if you are the photographer you can see the details and other stuff. fake sharpness on iphone is like a white spot on black material. But to be honest - Iphone isn't the best phone for a pictures. It would be interesting to see a comparison at least with iPhone 13pro or better with Huawei Mate 20pro or p30 pro but anyway for Iphone 11 these pictures are so good!
I had a right Guess at all the photos, it's not that hard u just have to have a little experience with photography and FOCUS on details whitch guys did there very well.
The first photo was surefire because of the damn lens flare which drives me cryzy when using my iphone camera, also the left one had more dynamic range at first glance.
i was right with the first photo. the overal image just looked a bit worse than the one on the left so right away i said, the one on the right is the iphone. ok, now i'm moving on the the other photos...
Good video but the problem with your video is these are the “optimal conditions” vs the a7iii. Go to anyrhing different like a darker area and literally the a7iii will outdo an iPhone 11 eveytime, usually overcast or 6am dusk or dawn is the best conditions like you have, when it’s super sunny it’s done a7iii wins and when it’s dark a7iii wins
Phone cameras still can't beat the real cameras but they are still able to keep up with true camera standards considering their price and size of it... It just depends on the user on how they use the equipment
I'm not trying to be a photographer, I would just like better quality pictures with a phone than I am getting on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10. Trying to see which phones take better pictures; iPhone or Samsung 🤔
Great video. Goes to show photography is 80% skill, 20% equipment.
Very true!
Yeah..but equipment has to be good too...you can't shoot quality with laptop camera.... iPhones are seriously getting good ..

I'd like to see the same comparisons in low-light conditions
LOL
Phones would get obliterated
Give them two to three years :)
The optical resolution, the noise and depth of field clearly will always be different.
This test will be a lot harder with the upgraded camera sensors in the iPhone 13 Pros
I recently went from an iPhone 8 Plus to an iPhone 11 Pro Max...and oh my goodness the difference is insane!!
The detail on the left was smoother than the one of the right. (The first picture)

Planning to buy iPhone 11 (coz the only model that I can afford 😅) thanks for this

You are absolutely right! Clean night shot, gorgeous bokeh, beautiful starburst and much more can only be executed perfectly by a 'real' camera.
Honestly was it easy for you to tell the difference? How many did you get right?
Yes it it. Just pay attention on the details, highlights and dynamic. I got them all except for the hand
I got them all. It wasn't easy at first, but then I got the hang of it. Thanks for the video!

The sharpness of the little sensors (like smarthphones) is so digital, so when you learn that it´s easy to notice the difference.

You can tell Iphone photos by looking at the "HDR like" highlights that phones love to impose. specially on the second photo.
The lighting and everything is so beautiful
The iphone is doing amazingly well comparing this good dslr .Very nice vibe in the video btw .
For 1 2 3 quite good btw.
the last one is very easy, iphone like normal phone camera, always sharp.
Great video! Thanks for the comparisons.
One big minus is that in video mode there is no enough blur on background as on dslr(((
nice fun video Sean :) and ur a nice photographer! cheers
thats amazing brother 💓
I think the real test would be to project the images from the iPhone vs. Camera onto a large screen to compare sharpness.
Anyone done this?
I'm not even a photographer but it's quite obvious and it is probably even more for you whithout youtube compression and with a better screen than my old iPad

I recommend Capcut Great for editing videos you have a lot of fruit templates and just a lot of three things to do
Man why u lier. This is not an iphone 11. It has 3 cameras and 11 has 2. This is the pro version. That is, a better camera.
I think he already said 11 pro
First is Camera on the left. Oh, I got it right!
I made my decision based on the flare next to the bushes
As a photographer I'm glad I got all of them right

what I'm getting is that iPhone's one is sharpen too much than the a7III on the last pictures.
This does show how remarable the Iphone is for a camera phone. The 13 pro is even better than the11.
And the Iphone 15 pro will be better, than the IPhone 14 pro…😉

Pls drop original photos from Cam and iPhone
what camera you're use on this video?

Thank's shareng friend
Iphone has a tendancy to make all photos HDR-like, and produces 'dirty' colors. So it's pretty easy to spot which one has been captured on Iphone.
