If you haven't already, you are about to. The Chinese University of Science and Technology has constructed a humanoid robot that is so lifelike that it walks the Uncanny Valley's narrow line between familiarity and creepiness.
Jia Jia is her name, and she has a diverse set of characteristics. She can interact with humans directly, answering questions they pose to her. When responding to questions or actions, she can use micro expressions. Realbotix is the brainchild of Matt McMullen, an artist and designer. In 1997, he founded Abyss Creations, the company that produces Realdoll, out of his garage. According to The Sun, she costs $15,000 (£11,100) and can accommodate many identities, all of which can be fine-tuned via a consumer smartphone app.

Reuters uploaded a video showing nurse Grace, clothed in a blue uniform, demonstrating her capacity to not only communicate with people but also assess their temperature and measure their reaction using a thermal camera in her chest. The humanoid, which can speak English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, was created to engage with and assist individuals in need.
