It's funny because Savarkar didn't even faced harsh punishment compare to other freedom fighters like Mahaveer singh in jail & Savarkar was also getting pension from Britishers when he got out of the jail. In just few months of being in jail, he started writing the mercy petition. Meanwhile other freedom fighters refused to do that. Even when other freedom fighters did write mercy petition, they wrote it for others and not themselves. But still people Remember Savarkar and not the other freedom fighters who faced way harsh punishment than Savarkar, just because he was part of right wing ideology.

Even Nehru spent a decade of his life in jail. But the incident you are talking about is when Britishers detained them during protest so that protestors don't get out of control. That's why they put Gandhi into Aga khan palace and Nehru into Ahmednagar fort. Not just Gandhi and Nehru but also Sardar Patel & Mahadev Desai was also detained in that same palces. But did you took the name of Sardar Patel? You didn't. Since it doesn't suit your narrative.

For your information even Sardar Patel as well as Mahavir Desai was also detained at the same place as Mahatma Gandhi and Nehru. But you didn't mentioned their name. Why?
