- June is approaching quickly, and so is the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart.
Traditionally, the month of June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and our Church celebrates it specifically on June 11th this year. And while we may have recognized May as the month of Mary, are we giving that same attention towards our Lord’s Sacred Heart? How are we preparing our hearts to enter into this mystery?

For anyone who's like me, who wondered why Catholics were devoted to an organ in Jesus's body: The heart is a symbol of the whole of Christ's human nature. The heart points to the deeper fact that the Son became a human being, taking on a human nature (body, soul, will, intellect, passions; all of it). Devotion to the Sacred Heart is essentially a devotion to Christ through the lens of reflecting on the truth of his humanity.

As a faithful Catholic who experiences same-sex attractions and freely chooses to live in abstinence as according to Catholic Church teachings on homosexuality, I cannot thank you enough for this much-needed video and its crucial message, Fr. Mark-Mary! Whether we experience same-sex attractions or not, let us all begin to refocus our gaze on what the month of June is truly about! May our Lord's most Sacred Heart pierce us all during this next month, and may He especially pierce the heart of our world that so desperately needs Him! Jesus, we entrust ourselves and all of your children, especially those within the LGBT+ community, to Your most Sacred Heart!

I live in a Catholic.church Presbytery which I rent from the Diocese.. I am so lucky to have access to our beautiful church. I've noticed a beautiful statue of The Sacred Heart iinside a cupboard hidden away... I will ask our Priest when he comes to say Mass if we can have the statue in church for the month of June at least. Hopefully longer. ...

Looking forward to doing both the Immaculate Heart and Sacred Heart Novenas in June. Last June the Sacred Heart Novena was instrumental in my conversion, so this will be an anniversary, thanksgiving and renewal all in one. Can't wait!

Only last week I bought a beautiful old fashioned statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in an antique shop. It is so wonderful to have him in my home ❤️❤️❤️ Heart of Jesus pierced with a Lance have mercy on us. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for this. This is a year of thanksgiving for me for my cure from cancer, and I decided to follow dedications over several months this year. I already decided to follow Fr André Prevot’s “Love, Peace & Joy”, which is a 30 day devotion to the Sacred Heart. I already have a dedication to the Sacred Heart, it was the name of the church in which I grew up and the name of the church I lived in the longest after I left my parents home. We grew up with a lit statue of the Sacred Heart in our home and I have a small image in my home. So glad you put out this call and I pray that many will respond to it. God bless you Fr.

The rainbow has nothing to do with chastity or celibacy it's a symbol of the covenant and God's promise solely period l. The devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus is the driving force behind current revelations of evil and good in the sense of the “Apocalypse “ Everything is revealed in the light of the pierced Sacred Heart. This is scary and humiliating, But instead of hiding from God , as Adam and Eve did, we should be encouraged to make our way back to God , because of the humble intercession of his crucified Son

I always approach June as a month to really speak truth and hopefully be a vessel of healing for our brothers and sisters in the LGBTQIA+ community. As a Church we need to do a better job evangelizing and ministering to queer people and this an excellent time to get started in that work! There are so many that need to be drawn into the Sacred Heart of Jesus, but to erase or ignore what this month means for so many, I think would be a mistake in the Church. Let us not cease in running the race, with prayer and sacrifice, towards our goal.

At my school we have a big rock people paint. It was painted a rainbow. On the feast of the Sacred Heart, on the last day of school, it was painted over with the image of the sacred heart. On the back, it said on a painted banner "You are loved, 2021". At the open house (5-7 pm) everyone saw and so many of the liberals were enraged. The cross was painted over, but the heart remains. At my school (about 120 ppl), there are a grand total of 5 people (now 2 including me that the school year is over) who are not pro LGBTQ.
June is the month of the Sacred Heart, and God is so good. Do not be afraid to share our beautiful faith.
A catholic school will be flying a rainbow flag on their schools for June but no mention of the sacred heart....God have mercy on those running that school.
Ugh. And their Bishop allows this?

Been sitting at home for nearly 2months with no mass on sundays. Church are all closed. The only place to pray is home. Please pray for india. Pandemic has hit hard in this country🙏
I hope to observe the Sacred Heart in June, especially by going to Mass on June 2 [the First Friday in June] and a week later on June 9 [the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart]. I was invested in your remarks about Halloween?All Saints. Something similar also happens here {GB] earlier in the year. Many people observe Shrove Tuesday as 'Pancake Day', but the following day, the important day, Ash Wednesday, is almost entirely ignored by the media and by most people other than strictly observant Catholics and some observant Anglicans. Some secular calendars and diaries mention Shrove Tuesday and Halloween without reference to the importance of the following days.
PS As a direct result of this video I have decided to do the Litany of the Sacred Heart daily in the afternoon or evening during June. I have downloaded it from Catholic Crusade, along with the Chaplet of the Sacred Heart which I could perhaps sometimes use as an alternative.
I was worried until I watched through the whole video. Still a little concerned. The title made it sound really bad! Maybe it's clickbait, it just hinted at something harmful.
So, pertaining to chastity... What if you're trying to conceive a baby? When he said chastity, my heart really sunk and I almost started crying. We really want to grow our family and we would love to have a baby next spring.
Chastity doesn't mean abstinence. The martial act in the context of a marriage and in accordance with natural law is chastity according to your state in life.

It is a perversion of the martial act, an attack on the family, exposes kids to abuse, and harms all involved. If you're not called to enter into a marriage in accordance with natural law and start a family, there's nothing wrong with vocations or single life.
