The shotgun stock you pulled up is from a baikal only recognized it as it has the same arrow logo on the butt plate as mine, then when googling the baikal logo you can see its the same

For further info if any one is interested the Baikal shotguns were Russian made, cheap but solid, that's and over and under, technically that includes the action so it should be handed in to police but I would say that is way past any for of use. A LOT of shotguns went off the records after the 1988 firearms act, prior to that you got a licence and could own as many as you liked and sell to another licence holder so long as your saw there licence but didn't need to keep a record so they were effectively untraceable until they went through a dealer. After the act they needed to be individually listed on your licence and many, particularly cheap ones, never were, the problem was after that they could then never be legalised and you couldn't hand them in to the police if you walked into a police station to hand one in that wasn't listed on your licence you stood a very high chance of being arrested and charged (this often came up when the original owner died or went into a home etc and family tidied up) so they ended up getting dumped, and some ended up in dubious ownership, this resulted in some owners disposing of them by cutting them up and dumping them in rivers or the sea.
