What if How's Bayou was done correctly? This is just for entertainment, Captain N and cover song Born on the Bayou are owned by their respected owners.
Living trees? Mechanical birds? Mutant frog men? Rope swinging? A monster truck? A pet alligator? A buff and more badass outdoorsman version of Billy West? Billy deflecting projectiles with his whip? A power star that kills everything around you? This is one of the few episodes where they make an adaptation better than the game. If Konami was going to reboot Mad City/Bayou Billy, this would be a good paradigm to follow! Hell, make the poachers Billy mentions his new human adversaries and throw in a survival aspect to it!
Thx, I always wanted to know what How's Bayou would've actually liked like if both versions were combined to create one coherent episode. All they had to do was do what I did. 😅
I simple edited both versions together. Cause version 2 was missing things version 1 had and vice versa. It was fun cause we actually get to see what this episode should've looked like if they were not lazy instead of giving us 2 versions
Oh lol! I got it from a guy years ago. Way before DVD was a thought (2003) He made copies of the series VHS and to preserve them I burned them on DVD when VHS to DVD burners was a thing.
I was gifted some Bootleg copies of Captain N. Season 1 were the NBC versions with the cover songs and the episode synopsis with the characters telling views what is happening.
Gunvolt I remember that! I think I still have my VHS tapes somewhere. I held on to those thinking that's the only time I'll see Captain N series in that format. Lol. Good times
In honest, I love season 1, even if it was WAY before my time. The replaced tracks with MegaMove and some song from Super Mario Bros 3 cartoon sounded off. Super Mario Bros 3 cartoon suffered some song changes. Some had cover songs like "Great Balls of Fire" and the Milli Vanili controversy are two of the offenders. Now if I can find clean rips of Season 2 of Captain N's Background Music, I would be happy.
Gunvolt Me Too! The animation for its time was a major thing that drew my attention growing up.. Other then the story line. I remember watching it Saturday morning at 9. Though I'm glad the DVD came out, I was disappointed about their failure to get the rights to the songs. As well as giving us version 1of How's Bayou but I've only seen this version once maybe twice my life time before the DVD came out so I'm glad for it too. But that's why I made a video where I meshed both versions together to make a real complete episode lol

I agree
This is perfect.
Thank you, I wish they honestly put it together they way it should've been instead of giving us two versions lol
This is the only video I can find of the completed version of "Where's Bayou?" that fixed the missing backgrounds.

@@justanaveragegamer83 Where did you find the fixed version of the episode?

@@justanaveragegamer83 I meant where did you find Version 2? It's not on the DVD.

Gave you a sub by the way.
Gunvolt Thank you, I appreciate that. 😁. I've done the same
best isekai ever
Yes I realized that too! This was my very first isekai that inspired me to write my own...but it has nothing to do with video games or anything lol
You may need to work on audio quality consistency.
Yeah, audio is my Achilles heel. But I'm working on understanding it.

You know what the musical segment should've been, a country-rock version of the song Billy Bayou by Jean Reeves
King Hippo: I'll toss your salad!
Alrighty then.
