What’s creepy is that he wasn’t insane/had full sanity when he killed the children. Insanity is being unaware of what you are doing and why it is wrong, William knew exactly what he was doing, he knew the possible consequences, but he did it anyway. Henry on the other hand, (at least this is in the novels) was driven mad from the loss of his daughter and yeah.. if you read the novels you should know what had happened. So.. I wanted to apply the same logic from the books, sorry if I sound rude, I just wanted to explain! qwq
