Whenever I watch your videos, I'm amazed by how much I learn. What's even more incredible is how the concepts connect with each other. Thank you, Waldirio Pinheiro, you're amazing!!
Hi Wali, I learn so much from your content. Your recent video on upgrading from rhel 7 to 8 via satellite today helped me upgrading few of our vms in the UAT environment to rhel 8. After spending some time on testing application compatibility I will soon move onto upgrading our production servers. Thank you for your content 🫡
wow man this is just great stuff! we have a redhat satellite with DataCenter Subscription for ESX machines, definitely using ur tutorial step by step! when will you be uploading on automation and remote command best practices? like hardening scripts and so on.. Thanks again! ✌
Hey Wali, thanks for the great video. I have a question about updating/upgrading. What is the sequence ? Satellite first, then capsule servers ? Thank you
You are very welcome @Berkto00 !!! Yes, you are right. First, move on with your Satellite Server, once you have it up and running, with no issues, you can move on with your Capsule Servers. Please, let me know if you have additional questions.
Hi Walli, it is a very cool video/tutorial :) I like it. For now i know what and how to Satellite. But I have a question uis it possible to share ARM Artifactory repository for rhel clients?
Hey @LEO2008k, Thank you! Yes, you can sinc 3rd party repos, or red hat repos for arm processors, in general, the repo will be something like "rhel-9-for-aarch64-baseos-rpms".
Hello Wali, I have seen that you mentioned "chrony" and that you might create a video about it. It would be a great help if you did, as I encountered some issues with the NTP server when trying to install it and was forced to skip the service to complete the installation. Thank you
Hello @dananjayachathuranga7113, basically, Satellite is a product that will help manage your linux infrastructure, in many different aspects. Please, check the link in a sequence for more information - www.redhat.com/en/technologies/management/satellite
