Okay so what I said was wrong, because I rewatched the video and listened closely and at 16:14-16:19 it is explained that if Ayaka and Honoka are close to each other all damage done to Honoka will transfer to Ayaka (I really need to start listening to the words instead of just paying attention to frames)
