    I have watched most of all of your videos and I don't think I have seen you use any other color of thread than white. Love your work and your videos.

      wow... now that is a fair price for a pattern... i know a lot goes into making a pattern but i see people selling patterns for 15-20 bucks or more. Very fair price and i hope to get some patterns from you when you release them. Thanks for all you do for us leather workers .

    Why did you punch the stitching holes separately on the main pocket panels?

    Smart to mark the long straight edge with the scratch awl, then line up the small pieces against it.

    Do you guys come up with new designs and templates on a regular basis? It seems that might be risky if it isn't a well accepted piece. That being said.......shoot I love all your stuff!

    • @Corter
      @Corter  6 лет назад +5

      Yep! I've got over a thousand patterns on my computer at this point. No real risk in making a pattern unless you're talking about wasted time, but I like doing it so it's not time wasted in my book :)

  • @gall_blader_works

    Beautiful even in veg tan! the way you lined up those stitching holes from the interior and exterior pieces is super-humanly precise. Question though, Did you punch the exterior separately, or did you use the interior piece as a guide to punch the old one? Again, very beautiful work.

    • @Corter
      @Corter  6 лет назад +1

      Thanks! I usually punch separately and use the spacing from the top of the piece to the first hole to line up each stitch line :)

    “Please help “ I use edge tape on all my leather keychains I make. I have a cellphone case and the edge tape edge that constantly hits my pocket is a little worn. What do I see you using on your videos after you tape the edge? Sand paper? Please let me know exactly what to do. On my keychains I will just roll on the edge paint and that’s it. What do you do after. I see you buff it ? Let me know. Please
