This is the short film I have been looking for. brilliant work. I have just started my arborist journey and this really resonated. Well produced British film.
I’m curious to how you are doing these days Matt!! Seeing this was 4 years ago I’m sure you’re well seasoned now. I just began my journey at the start of 2020, I’ve been doing ground work for the past year and finally just started climbing.
@@jonnyhaha7392 hey Jon. Have a look on my channel! I'm doing really well thanks. Funny you should comment because today I do my first official day as lead climber! Keep practicing and get as much experience you can it all comes with time.
@@peteydynamite8794 Hi Petey Yes there are certainly trees that feel really special to climb and work on. I always try to keep in mind when pruning that we are just visitors. Take a look at my Mews short film: ruclips.net/video/7oZIIP-bxWg/видео.html
Great video! It really does sum it all up. It’s a fun job to have if you can suffer the bad for the good and yes you most definitely take work home with you, it’s addictive in a way.

you missed the point of the video. thats the beauty of this field, its about self expression and freedom. many crews ive worked with have had long hair including my self.
Ethan Klein I am also in this industry but I am an army Reservist too so I have to shave and keep my hair short... But I wish I could grow a beard and let my hair down!!

@@MattGlynn Glad it's going well Matt. Do you still have an emotional attachment to the trees you work with or does it just feel like a job now?
