@@flickering_wick They may have adjusted/added instrumentals but Jon's vocals, and the background vocals from his wife, here are identical to the album recording. You can pull both videos up in a youtube syncer/multiplier and play the album video ~5 seconds behind the live version and see for yourself; the vocals are spot-on from beginning to end.
@@wesleynilsenmusic No doubt that Jon is one of the most talented musicians out there right now, but consistent =/= 100% identical. Absolutely agree that the instruments and backup vocals are live, no arguments there, but no one sings a song the exact same twice. With Jon's vocals, there are no notes held longer or shorter than others, no tempo changes, no drift, nothing, compared to the record version - listen to them at the same time overlapped. You can listen to his live version of Hold On for example, off the same Keeper of Days album, and his vocals there are expectedly and noticeably different than the studio recording. I'll happily eat crow if Jon says otherwise, though. Until then, I'm happy to agree to disagree and just enjoy the fact that Jon is an incredible singer-songwriter and this song is absolutely groovy. :)
This is such a beautiful and simple song. Thank you.
Who could ever down vote this?! Ugh it's soooooo amazing.
I love this song so much
Sooo good!
❤️
Fantastic. Loved this God bless you and thank you.
Good band. Can you start crediting your musicians? What are their names?
One of my favourite songs off Keeper of Days! Such a groovy chorus. Just wish this was 100% "live", not simply using his studio vocals.
This is definitely not the studio version. They are similar, but there are several notable instrumental differences between the versions.

Thankfully you're 100% mistaken on this. Their musicianship is pretty impressive to be this consistent.
