That is one heck of a table!!!!!!!! Move the lathe, build some ramps and you could park the red car that I saw in your dust collection video on top of it and have more room to move around with the cars in there!!!!!!!! I really like the tool holder you built in the table. I'm trying to come up with ideas to store my tools for my lathe. I do have an idea for you though that may help you out a bit. I believe it was your dust collection video you mentioned you had mentioned something about having a small shop. I don't know your plans for the space under the lathe but my idea is that you could store some tools on that shelf and free up else where. I noticed behind your tool rack there is a lot of wasted space, put your tool rack on a piano hinge so your tool rack swings out to the right, put a couple of shelves in there to store all of your lathe accessories (face plates, pen mandrels, etc) and all lathe tools and accessories are in 1 spot.
Thanks for viewing my videos. Yeah, it's a solid (and inexpensive) lathe stand. I built three drawers in that open space below my lathe. I keep the various lathe accessories there, power sanding stuff, and cut-up T-shirts that I don't want to get dust on (for applying oil finish). Great idea about using the space behind the tools--I was wondering what to do about that. The piano hinge solves the problem. Thanks.
Sorry, I don't have a plan I can publish. You can pretty much build exactly what I have by following along with the video. You can easily modify it as necessary to meet your needs.
Thanks for sharing. I'm just starting out as a wood turner. Actually my lathe is still boxed up, I do need lathe stand. This looks like what I need...
Simple and inexpensive--that's what I like. I hope this works for you. It's easy to put on wheels if you need it to be mobile.

Can you post a plan for the tool stand? I'd love to incorporate that into this stand also. Great build. I'm going to start on mine next weekend.
