When the party’s over…… that MV just hits you hard as if the song isn’t bad enough at that on its own. I loved Billie’s music but the way she did that cemented how I felt about her as an all around artist. I will echo others in saying the “when the party’s over” music video is (and I hate to use this word..but there no other word to use) an iconic video. It’s a combination of a great song with a thought provoking and visually stunning video. Best of both worlds.
The first thing that made me really pay more attention to Billie was her live performance of All The Good Girls Go to Hell on the Howard Stern show (which IMO is sonically so much better than the album version). But for videos, Bury A Friend and All The Good Girls Go To Hell (in that order) would make for super interesting reactions!
