    If folks heard a demo as good as this back in the day, this instument would have been flying out the music stores. 10/10. I've got one but I havent got your skill sir. Nevertheless great instrument totally underrated. Love the video. Going to listen again.
    Thanks Mark UK

      It's comments like this one that always motivate me to continue with these videos, thank you very much...❤..by the way, the ck61 is still available in stores.. but you're right.. now it's one synth among hundreds with similar features.. but in my opinion this one is unbeatable for this price...😊

      @thiedi8000, thank you so much for your reply . I Don't pass my comments lightly. It's only if I think its motivational, educational and a very good "listen to" that I comment. Thanks for taking this lovely piece of electronica to show to the folks out there what this is capable of. Yamaha owe YOU 🤣🤣🤣🤣
      All my best to you for 2025.
      We're lucky we have gone if these instruments.
      Happy New Year
      Thanks Mark UK

      @@VickersDoorter I intentionally waited until the end to play Smoke on the Water... but you discovered it...😀 you can be glad that I didn‘t play ‚Stairway to Heaven‘..😅

    What song were you playing for the synth

    Are the keys weighted at all? Is it programmable at all? Another similar keyboard that does the sounds you demonstrated pretty well is the Roland VR-09. Thanks for the video. I enjoy your stuff.

    • @thiedi8000
      @thiedi8000  22 дня назад +2

      @@FarkyDave the keyboard is semi-weighted, very well playable. The most important parameters can be changed directly. You can layer or split 3 sounds . This can also be 3 synths, or 2 synths and a piano..etc. each with its own effects. Effect section is fantastic. You can build a complex sound within seconds..I don‘t know much about the VR-09.. 😀👋

    Supertramp - School sounds so good on this, was waiting for the solo 😁Great demo, how much work is it to get each of those sounds? Or how close to presets are they?

    • @thiedi8000
      @thiedi8000  21 день назад

      It's easy to create new sounds very quickly. The samples are excellent and the first class effects do the rest to get any sound you need for your cover project, with all the splits and layers that are necessary..👋

    Great tones and excellent playing! Do you usually set your 61 notes keyboards one octave lower by default? If so, what inspires you to use this setup? Thanks!

    • @thiedi8000
      @thiedi8000  21 день назад

      Thank you very much! 😊 It depends on the patch, sometimes it's better to lower everything an octave to play the song as good as possible… but I save it in the patch with the correct pitch.

      @thiedi8000 Hi, thanks for your response! I’m a proud Juno-X owner and have been following your videos with great interest. If possible, could you share how you typically set up your Wurly sound? I also have the Vintage Keys Expansion installed. What kind of EQ or effects (EFX) do you usually apply when crafting your Wurly tones?
      Greetings from Brazil! 👊🏻

    Would this ck61 be a good place to start in the world of piano/synths?

    • @thiedi8000
      @thiedi8000  13 дней назад

      yes, sure! If your focus is more on piano playing, then choose the CK88 with the weighted keyboard...😀

      @@thiedi8000 Thanks! I really can't decide between 61 or 88 haha. 61 would be good if I want to travel or play in a band or gig later, but soon enough. But 88 I would get the full spectrum and the better action for piano pieces.
      I would like to develop a good piano technique but at the same time, 61 is also way better for organ...ARGHHHHH. I don't knooooow.
      I'm a musician and played guitar for decades and also some woodwind instruments and I want to finally sit down to some keys now.
      This Yamaha CK series looks like it fits me perfectly as I want to play a lots of stuff, not just piano, otherwise I would go for another product series.
      Is 61 keys enough for general piano or will I be very limited? Not talking very complex classical stuff of course.
