Thank you for sharing this video. I had taken the class in February and Janet is a great instructor. However, I already forgot some of the things covered in the class. This video is a good refresher on inspecting the hive. Could you please make a Q&A video to answer most frequently asked questions? For example, how to convert a single story hive into a 3 medium beehive?
Nice video. I took your class last year before I got my Nucs and was able to go into the beeyard. However, everything was so new and overwhelming it was hard to remember everything the instructor showed/told us. It was nice to watch the video after getting a little experience under my belt. Thanks!
Excellent video. I’d love to take the beginners class at the Dayton location. I’m in Baytown, so it’s not at far as Dallas. This video was very informative. 🐝🍯
Just checked some of my hives here in Deep East Texas. The comb is a bright yellow. Looks similar to Golden Rod wax. Never seen this before this time of year. Would you know where they may have gotten this? Thanks for all your videos.
I am curious about the bee yard, what should my bee yard look like before I am ready to set up my first hive? I notice yours is fenced off, is there a reason for that?
Can you do a video on beekeeping along the Texas coast. Specifically, on the mainland from Galveston. I'd like to begin keeping native bees, as pollinators - not necessarily for production, but I don't know if it's even possible or how to begin.

Are those Cordovan Bees? I have always loved how gentle they are.
