    This is a review video for the Intex PureSpa Hot Tub and Pool Set. This model is new to the market and we wanted to share with you a little about our experience. We purchased the Intex PureSpa Hot Tub and Pool Set from VMInnovations who we have ordered other similar products from in the past. Even though it was shipped freight due to it being 255 lbs in the box, it arrived within a week.
    This video covers parts of the setup process as well as some ideas on where to place this hot tub and pool combination set. The setup was very simple and Intex provides multiple sets of instructions as well as a safety DVD. One quick note is that the pool side is not heated, only the spa side is. However both have air jets.
    Feel free to ask any questions and we will work to get a response back to you as quick as possible.
    Thank you for watching and please like & subscribe to our channel.

    Thank you for sharing, We have had several of the Intex pools and they have been a real "god send." Especially for people that don't want to spend an arm and a leg for a pool, these are fantastic. We moved to California and are thinking about getting this one because of the hot tub & pool combination. Please keep us all informed on how this is working for you and your family. Being a new model it should be interesting to see how it holds up and if it is anything like their pools it should last many many years! Thanks again for taking the time to share.

    Thanks for the review! When this is being inflated, is it all one air chamber ? I'm asking because we live in the northeast, and I'd like to option of deflating the pool side of this in the winter months and just leaving the hot tub section inflated. Thanks :)

    • @PRA7Reviews
      @PRA7Reviews  7 лет назад +3

      It is all one chamber of air. One thing we did was use a pump from our old Intex PureSpa to heat the pool side. So while it was still cool outside we had the hot tub side at 104 and the pool side at 99. Since summer is here we have stopped using the pool side heater.

      PRA7 Reviews what happened to your old spa? Did it just wear out? I've looked at the spa versions, but the reviews are always mixed on quality.

    • @PRA7Reviews
      @PRA7Reviews  7 лет назад +2

      We just wanted to move into this new model rather than getting a pool as well. We kept the old pump / heater and used it to heat the pool side when it was cold out. For the price of any of these we think they are great compared to buy a permanent one.

    I am thinking of getting one for my patio this weekend. It is over pavers. Do you think I will need something other than the pad it comes with to soften up the seats? I was thinking of maybe using some foam carpet padding underneath it as it would sit on brick pavers. Maybe a double layer of padding then the pad it comes with? How many people can you fit on each side it's hard to tell from the pics. I'd like some video of everyone in it. This would be perfect for dive in movie night in our back yard.

    • @PRA7Reviews
      @PRA7Reviews  7 лет назад +4

      It is pretty well cushioned with the pad. My concern with putting any sort of fabric based padding down is that it will get really nasty and stinky over time. We have done that under some of our pools and it was later regretted. With the pavers just make sure there are no sharp point which could puncture the tub or make it uncomfortable for the people using it. Once the water is in, there is no way to move it unless drained.

    • @jameschavez4527
      @jameschavez4527 7 лет назад +4

      I wound up using Rubber foam carpet padding under the bubble padding it comes with. It is very very soft and with my living in AZ, so far it has worked out very well and dries pretty quick. The issue in AZ is the dryness here, we'll see how the rubber foam makes it over time. Thanks for your input. I am very happy with the tub so far.

  • @powderriver2424
    @powderriver2424 7 лет назад +2

    How puncture resistant is the material the seems appear to be solid from what could be seen in the video. The concern for me regarding inflatable things is it's durability. My last cheap intex pool the cat jumped on it and that was the end of that.

    • @PRA7Reviews
      @PRA7Reviews  7 лет назад

      Its pretty tough stuff.. You of course want to take common sense precautions to assure there are no sharp objects near the pool, but the skin of the tub is very durable.

    Hi, a know it’s a few years since you posted this but I’ve just bought a second hand one with no instructions and can’t seem to find the on the Internet. Could you help me out and tell me where the metal bats go please? Thank you.

    • @PRA7Reviews
      @PRA7Reviews  4 года назад

      Sure. I did a quick search of the internet and didn't find anything either. The metal tube would slide through a sleeve at the bottom of the tub on either side. You would then run the other long metal tube through the sleeve at the top back of the side step. Once those are in place you should be able to connect the end pieces to complete the frame. Once in place you can inflate the side seat or step. These are really not needed, but make a nice place to sit or to set stuff while you are in the tub. Hope this helped. We loved ours.

    hey i was wondering a few things. one does it use just a regular 120 volt plug or do i need to add more power for a 220 like with a pool. second, i live in pa where in the winter it is cold ans snowy/icy, do i need to empty it an put it away or would it be ok. how durable is it.. can you please advise

    • @PRA7Reviews
      @PRA7Reviews  7 лет назад

      It comes with a 120 and just plugs in. Just make sure that there is no much else on that circuit since the heater will be running all the time. As for winter care, that is a tough one. We live in Texas and haven't seen snow in 5 years or so. We also kept the pump from our old hot tub and have it heating the pool side. Sorry we aren't much help on that aspect.

    • @PRA7Reviews
      @PRA7Reviews  4 года назад +1

      Try taking your water hose and put some water pressure through one of the inlets (where the filter is).. Typically E90 is just a bubble. Once you get it flowing it will be good. Also as you have water flowing into it, you can start the pump and then stop it before the error and just repeat. It really is a nice tub.

      Not as part of what comes with the kit. We had a left over pump from the smaller hot tub and used that to heat the large side. But probably not the recommended path. So with the normal kit only the smaller side can heat.

      You are right.. I said I would but haven't done a follow up video yet. Will try to do that today and get it posted this week. Everything has held up pretty well. We keep it running year round and obviously that stresses things. I noticed we started to get errors after a point and when cleaning there were pieces of plastic in the filter and the water was not cleaning well. Last weekend I took the pump apart (as ours is well out of warranty) and found that the propeller that circulates the water was down to one blade. We still had our old pump from a previous model and the propeller was the same, so I just replaced it (not easy). But everything is back to working perfectly. I would still recommend this unit as it is so nice to have the hot and cold tubs next to each other and is very space efficient. Thank you for the question.

    • @PRA7Reviews
      @PRA7Reviews  7 лет назад +3

      I would say it is as big if not a little bigger since you have the corners. If you get rid of your round one and decide get this model, here is something we did. We kept the heater / pump from the old one. Sealed some garden hose to the pump and used it to heat the pool side. So we kept the hot tub side at 104 and the pool side at 99. Just an idea. And of course do at your own risk.

    how do you turn the pump on?

    • @PRA7Reviews
      @PRA7Reviews  7 лет назад

      There is a power button in the center of the control panel just under the LED display. Once the power is on, I typically will press the filter button (to the left of the power button) on and off to allow for any air to clear from the filter line. If you are not getting power to the pump, there is a breaker reset on the end of the plug, which does at times seem very sensitive. So you may have to try those buttons as well. Hope that helps. If it still doesn't work let me know and I can try some things on our pump.

      Just did a rough measurement and the hot tub side is a little over 4X4ft and the pool side is just over 6X4ft. Depending on how tall someone is, they should be able to float fine in the pool side but more than likely their arms will be wider unless kept by your side.

      We have had good luck with our pumps over the years. The one with this unit only heats the hot tub side, but filters and provides bubbles to both (Side A, Side B or A and B at the same time).
