It's very possible that you would have won that race. I'd say you deserve $50K for the race (2nd place in my world). I'll buy some merch and Cleeter will make up the difference. I was at the Freedom500, I was happy to meet you for a second to shake your hand. My family and I were right in the front row at the start of the back straight. We were all rooting for you. And then Tanner spun you out and I was shocked. Didn't he do the same thing three years ago to the leader of the 500? You said it yourself, you're a courteous guy, and your racing showed that. You had so many opportunities to take JH out, but that's not your style, you want to beat him, not cheat him. It even rhymes! :D
33 spun more than just Derek out. he was way too aggressive near the end. Reminded me of Kevin a couple of years ago.
I actually thought it was Kevin at first. That’s a so called professional driver that can’t handle getting out ran by a couple average guys with RUclips channels for ya..

Derek is one of the nicest guys out there. 2nd should have been his. His driving speaks for itself, doesn't need nasty tactics like Tanner used.

Even though we blew up farm use, it was an honor to end up in your video. It’s surprising a 500 pick and pull engine lasted that long, with some name brand bolt ons and a spicy KSR tune considering we ran it at Bristol and last November there at the ff. hope to be ready for the event in Ct. also it was more like 8 quarts of oil. 😂

i wonder what the rules are.
you can see he did the bump that caused derek to start sliding, and like okay that happens. but then during the slide you can see tanner let off the brake to bump him into spinning out completely 🤔

Best part of this whole vid is at time stamp 13:43. The interaction between a father and his son. As a retired racer and pit boss I can tell you that these little interactions in the minutes before entering the track are worth as much as winning! - maybe ever more valuable.

They run a monster truck show called summer Smash in Evansville Indiana only like 3 hours north of you. Matt from demolition ranch drove a truck in it a few years back. The black stallion crew is always there. You would be blown away by the sheer number of fans you have in the area

Fun fact for yeah. As a veteran of stainless steel process piping in food and beverage industries, drill stainless at 1/4 the speed of mild steel. Seems like it would be a slower job, but its way faster if you dont have to keep sharpening or replacing your dull bits. And of course don't forget the panther piss to keep the tip cool. Thanks for the entertainment as always. Killed myself laughing when the guy revved his engine and the expression and body language you had, and then said " I think its running" was epic.

We had the same wagon growing up. We used to stand on the rear bumper and hold on to the roof racks while we tore down the gravel lane to our house here in Kentucky. That little 305 would be SCREAMIN! Damn....to be 16 again!
