    Amazing. No other word for Tamiya Full-Option 1/16th tanks. They are in a class of their own.

    Wonder how hard it would be for me to build this with ELRS24 Receiver PWM. Id really only need to keep turret spinning. Id ditch speaker and dont need to shoot or move barrel up and down. Just want to explore places..

    Is the body metal too or just frame?

    Kinda wish they'd develop an updated and modular DMD/MF system that could be set up for previous tanks like the Leopard 2A6 ( missing features like the autorotating Turret / Gun stabilizer ) or the Gepard 1 who's only available as a display stand model to begin with and VERY cumbersome to upgrade to an RC Model.

      I used a regular 7.2V battery pack NiMH or NiCad (with Tamiya connectors) charged with a Graupner Ultramat. Try any RC hobby dealer and find the best price.

      Adidas Boy
      Both, glue and screws. All the screws are included but you have to buy your own cement (glue).

    I just ordered this from Tower last night, can’t wait. You would’ happen to know the correct size ball bearing needed to upgrade the suspension arm bushing would you? I found 8x12mm listed but not the depth. Want to try and get these ordered. Great videos btw 👍🏽

      Hi, I built it in one about one week. It was finished (painting and weathering) after 3 weeks. I worked on it one the weekend and the evenings.

    It's possible to transform, the kit Tamiya 36212 into Tamiya 56041 ?.Thanks,regards.

    • @SoManyInterests
      @SoManyInterests  7 лет назад +1

      Giuseppe C
      Yes, it is possible as both kits share most of their parts. You would have to purchase separately the rest of the parts needed to RC it. I remember that there are two plastic parts that are used in the static kit that are not needed in the 56041 kit. Maybe, if your kit is already finished, you would have to remove them ?

      Thanks,Buzomeu.I love the fantastic abrams rc but,it is too expensive,and i would like to buy the "static kit" and then turn it in rc;Howewer, is hard to find the instructions( rc and static) ,and also, the spare parts for the transformation.Anyway,many thanks,for your answer.Ps:i'm very envious of her.Lol.

      @@gustavoc4239 Gustavo it would probably cost more than the rc kit to convert the static kit to rc. Spare parts like the transmission assembly, speaker box, control unit are ALWAYS more expensive when purchased separately. This is how companies make allot of money just selling spare parts.

    hi, wich colour you used on youre modell? grtz rafael

    • @SoManyInterests
      @SoManyInterests  6 лет назад

      rwisnirw
      The color recommended by Tamiya, I’ll check the reference later in the day. But I weathered it a little bit so it is quite different from the original color now.

      buzomeu out of the spray can?

    • @SoManyInterests
      @SoManyInterests  6 лет назад

      rwisnirw
      The reference is TS-46 (Tamiya spray can).
      After the white primer and the black pencil to highlight the edges, I entirely sprayed with the TS-46 (do not forget the mask what will benot desert color painted ;) )
      The weathering technic is quite long to explain but not so difficult to achieve. Check my other videos. Thanks 👍

      Save about $1200/$1300 US in total (it is a large estimation). With this sum, you can get the kit, the transmitter and the things you need to finish it (paints, details, etc...)
