Tucker , Hoover Damn is Epic , Been there 5 times , Guess your not Big on Sin City though , that would of been a cool video also while you were there .
I just got to the part where you said, "Ross nearly hit power lines." He hit them for sure. It burnt his wing and took out the transformer. He spent a few weeks recovering. It was a big deal at the time.
WOW! I WAS as stoked as you, to fly Hoover Dam. I've not been there since they built that bridge and I LOVED seeing the whole layout and how that bridge cuts so much time off of travel. Ya know, that's a single span arch bridge, the first of its type in the United States. That means the arch is built out of free stones and the pressure against each stone holds it all together. @Tucker Gott, this is going to be one of my very favorites. I did wish we could have flown under the arch, but I have seen all those power lines first hand, and again you were the gentleman with excellent safety consciousness. LOVED IT LOVE IT LOVED IT!
Tuck, You should carry a comm radio so when you are at uncontrolled ports, you can monitor the local traffic...those airblenders will be expected then.

Jaclyn is so comical! Love that comment on solving world peace. She is solving it by making someone laugh one person at a time! Love her!!! Great video / Love your vlogs!
This was probably one of the best vids I’ve seen of yours. I live in Phoenix and before they built that bridge we had to drive over the dam to get to Vegas, so have been over it a bunch of times, but man the view from the paramotor is so dope! Top notch content Tucker!
+1 I'd expect that, with all of those tour operators in the air, there would be some sort of restrictions. But I know that Tucker uses Avare for his flight management system (FMS) so I'm confident that he knows what he's doing! ;)
There is. You cannot fly directly over the dam at low altitudes. I live here in Las Vegas and know. Never flew the dam area myself as I only paraglide(no PPG yet). Other paragliders I have met have done it and talked about flying the dam. Also like Tucker said, the amount of power lines out there is insane.
Considering the FFA bans drones from flying around Hoover Dam, what this guy did SHOULD be illegal as well. Probably is illegal is my guess. Sure he says it is legal, but probably didn't take the time to make some phone calls to see if it was illegal to fly.
@@boohere2 You haven't been watching Tucker's videos for long or you would know he does contact the FAA when necessary and actually has a legit pilot's licence as well, so he knows his stuff.
Awesome video Tucker!! Love that bridge and the Hoover... Been out there a couple of times, watched them build that bridge... As always man, super video!!
I live in Kansas, but my grandparents live in Boulder City NV. I can see their house from 6:46! That’s crazy. Love the videos. I hope to paramotor someday because of you. It looks incredible.
Tim Wilson's where the f is my jetpack comes to mind when I see your videos. You seem to have the next best thing. When my kids dont depend on me anymore I'm getting one of those.
That was AWESOME, Tucker!👍👍 Great vid!! I haven't been there in almost 20 years - the big bridge wasn't there that I recall - we drove right over the dam to get to Vegas. We saw a bunch of big-horned sheep walking on the cliffs there where the power line posts stick out almost horizontally near the dam. Those things are wild - no idea how they keep their balance up there!
Dam Epic. Not just 3 bucket list flights, but 3 bucket list flights ON VIDEO! Jaclyn: "Solving whirled peas.." Just doesn't get any better than watching T&J do laundry
Was there actually a safe landing spot down in the runoff? I didn't see any flotation on your rig, so I'm wondering what you saw to the sides of the water. I thought it was all cliffs.
