My apologies on this. Yes we know there were only 2 drummers before the crash. Bob Burns and Artimus Pyle. Did not mean to say “Bob Barns” and mislead or confuse anyone.
The best video I’ve ever seen on Lynyrd Skynyrd! You have done a very very good job!! Thank you for doing this it was very enjoyable I wish it could’ve been an hour and a half long!! So God bless everyone and all of Lynyrd Skynyrd may they rest in peace the best band that had ever been and in my opinion the best band that will ever be!!
He left because Ronnie used to get drunk and beat the shit out of his band members, total disrespect for the people that helped him make his dream come true, especially Ed King, he was the main writer for the band and as far as I’m concerned the best guitarist of the three.
Good job 😊 when I was in Jr high school The Skynyrd boys came to the Altamont mall in Altamont springs Florida to sign 🤘 autographs. My buddies went. And I missed out.
Oh wow! Man I would still be heartbroken if I had missed out on that. I never got to see the original band, which sux. Got to see them after they reformed after the crash. Still love their music, especially the original stuff pre crash.
I was there U can't get on that property Where Hell house was And Dock All Gone! Tried calling cops when we tried to go To There Personal Community Now! Bunch of !
I'm very familiar with that house. Do you smell that smell. The smell of mold surrounds you! Beware anyone going into that place without a respirator. Also, look on the reviews of the house.

Yeah, sorry about that. Didn’t mean to say Bob Barns. Got a little ahead of my brain and didn’t realize I had said that until after the video got published.
Luv some Fried Gator Tail at Wyties Fish Camp👍🏾❤🤳Big Engine was Pretty much the House band last time I was there. They play the worst rendition of FREEBIRD I ever heard but they're a pretty good Band otherwise✌🏼🤠🌾
38 Special was formed by singer-guitarists Donnie Van Zant and Don Barnes in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1974. Donnie and Don would share the lead vocal role from 1974-1987 when Don left the band. And then share the lead again from 1992-2013 when Donnie would leave the band. Don is now the lead singer from 2013-present day. Yes Melody was the daughter, didn’t mean to say Melanie, mouth got ahead of my brain, LoL. As far as Gary and Allen, I really believe it’s hard to say who was rhythm and who was lead. Because they all shared the duties of rhythm and lead on different songs. To me there was never really a cut and dry rhythm and lead person. And I feel like that’s one of the things that made the band so unique and really made them a step above the rest.
No 2 drummers,Burns and Pyle
My apologies on this.

Good job. I visited the sites too about 6 months ago. All Skynyrd fans should come to JAX and see the sites
Thank you. And yea they should, and go visit the memorial at the crash site.
Thanks for the history.
Just to help you out Ed King excited the band because he did not like the violent behavior of the band or its members
Excited the band. How about exited.

Bob Burns not Bob Barnes
My apologies on this.

Unless you also count Ricky Medlocke who played drums on the original Muscle Shoals sessions pre MCA
Bob Burns Not Barnes!
What happened to Tammy Van Zant?
Gary Rossington was Prince Charming.

You never mentioned they had a sister.
Charlie Daniels and Cabin Fever Production video

My next door neighbors uncle did all the saxophone recordings for Lynyrd Skynyrd…my neighbors in Tarrant City Alabama
I'm working on it
THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS!!!
JUST INCREDIBLE!!!
Thank you so much for watching!
Fun video. Donnie was not the lead singer for 38 special and Gary was the rhythm guitarist. Allen was lead. Melody was daughter not Melanie.

Skynyrd had no defined lead guitarist. They switched off with eachother.
They all played lead depending on the song at hand.
👍
