Beautiful. Just absolutely beautiful. Hearing this gives me the feels like Kiara, who is now queen, is now singing this song to her cubs like how her father did to her. And the part where she sang “ even those who were gone are with us as we go on", makes me think she's talking about Simba or Mufasa. I'm sorry if i trigger you, but didn't the second movie show Vitani all grown up shortly after Nuka's death? So it didn't show how she coped with her brother's passing. I imagine either Zira singing this to a young Vitani so she can help with her (theoretical?) night terrors, or Zira not giving a sh*t and flat-out blaming her, so she sings herself to sleep every night using this song Scar taught her (you know, before he got all crazy and stuff.) Maybe the reason why this vocal of the song is really emotional, is because the young lioness remembers both her brother and her dad singing it.
