I am really scared seeing RUclips ads where people are saying it’s so safe & possible to make regular monthly income via derivative trading. There is absolutely no fear of regulation left in this country
Well said. Hrithik Roshan , Rana promoting rummy circle . Many people get struck in that trap
@@ramyasri6093As bad as promoting lottery/rummy...how is this any worse than these same celebrities promoting coke, extra virgin olive oil, fast food, credit card lifestyle etc?
Once greed grips a person he/she is a PERFECT target.....and in today's excessively materialistic, narssistic world....these targets are very easy to spot.
@@ramyasri6093also Kapil Sharma promoting gambling apps. Will these celebs Pay poor people who lose their money??
And yeah they are so blunt about promising money via wins. I actually know a few educated ones addicted to fantasy cricket app. One of my friend is so addicted, he actually bet money on England vs Bangladesh Women cricket match. I checked he didn’t know a name of single player in either side!!!!
@Sucheta, Thanks for educating people appreciate such awareness as this medium might create content for real cause but majority for there interest is creating complete chaos for investors and also to those who are advising in real interest of client's rightly said.
The penalties are peanuts in comparison with the money they make...there should be criminal charges not just small penalties
6.5 cr looked big to me.
Punishment doesn't work financial or criminal...
Thank you Sucheta Dalal for this video. I hope this reaches out to the many that get carried away by such paid unethical influencer.
There are also so many paid Political influencers who appear as Explainers or Teachers who praise Political establishments without blatantly praising them. These influencers employ fake logic and data.
Let's stay alert!
And they are so delusional that these fake influencers say ki follow news portals recommended by those fake influencers.
absolutely. And they spread hate, abuse and slander and it is simply not feasible to go after each of them since the judicial system is slow and expensive!
Thanks for the awareness!🙏
Mam.. Thank you for continuing with your unending war against frauds and fakes in the financial world..
many thanks!!
The highest paid startup influencer is obviously Ankur Warikoo who's charging 7.5 Lakh (plus GST) per post - his rates are also in this range.
I'm so glad this is coming up now. All the finfluencers- Finance with Sharan, Akshath Srivastava, etc. have at some point promoted dubious schemes in which so many people have lost their money.
Which videos or schemes?
@@pranjalahluwalia9115 Vauld, Zionverse, Lakshmi NFT, and the ones mentioned in the video.
Akshat had promoted vauld, where in many people lost their money..
Bhai akshat says this is not a stock recommendation and views should do their own research.
@swapnanilsarkar5089 vauld was his recommendation, but after people started accusing him, he said even he lost money.. but others it could be even worse and the impact could be much more worse.
Thanks mam for this video. Very useful. Things are deteriorating at much faster pace.
Kudos to ur efforts 👍
Absolutely great video !
Nice content for awareness...appreciable..
Commonly people with specialization in the field are branded as influencer about stocks more than the policy, processes and regulations in stock market...perhaps seems they may have very good connect deep within...
If go by market behavior and influences on digital platforms there are a joint efforts to make people more traders for quick transactions than genuine long term investors...
Brokerage firm are expecting more benefits, if they have more transactions as traders including taxes to exchange and government.
So there are certainly issues for genuine investors mainly small investors in decision making due to such influences across...
Outstanding work
This is a really good video, I like it a lot. Regulation, enforcement and punishment for unethical behaviour are very important.
Thanks for your kind information 🙏
Akshay Srivastav, a finfluencer, recently met piyush goyal along with 49 other RUclipsrs. Many of them finfluencers.
Great post, Sucheta. I have also seen and heard many such 'analysts' going ga ga analyzing some companies and calling them ' the next multibagger' a term good enough to catch many eyeballs. But one does apply one's commonsense too. That said, I am sure there are many gullible people out there who are ready to punt.
I too have not seen any disclosures, like you mentioned, made.
You need to name and shame these people.
I agree with you, we need to know all the names , by hiding their names , we enable and make them bolder
Akshat Srivasatava, PR Sundar, Ankur Warikoo, CA Rachana, Subhasis Pani, Abhishek Kar etc etc
Ashnoor bhi hai
Startup founder is Ashneer Grover, his whole life has been a fraud.
@@SANJAYkumar-gq4xtI thought it was warikoo
Its very useful. Thank you.
Excellent rendition
Great
Thanks for posting
Completely agree with you ma'am
But after a point there is a clash with the freedom of speech idea, democratic country, and then it's a slippery slope
How can we find that balance?
Tysm Respected Devashish Sir & Sucheta Mam For Your Genuine Advises Against Current Self Proclaimed Finfluencing Gurus 👍👍👍
Very educative. Thanks.
Excellent video!
Thank you, Sucheta Ma'am for the eye opener.
It is not that people do not know who are genuine and who are the influencers?
In the case of financial space,as you have rightly pointed out, ethical boundaries have to be set up.
One very well know the credibility of SEBI?
What are they waiting for? Why they can't be pro active and nip it in the bud itself when corporates use influencers to sway public opinion.
I admire your efforts. Thank you.
thank you
The root cause is that people prefer to profit by formulae than by knowledge, analysis and understanding.
Did she talked about ashneer grover?
Your english is so good to hear😊
Education and awareness from tis channel is a gift to investors.. Keep going..
many thanks
thank you mam for posting this video
Hi Sucheta, thanks for posting this video. It's an eye-opener. I hope SEBI does something to protect gullible investors and punish those who are guilty.
"Thank you so much for watching and for your kind words! I'm glad you found the video to be eye-opening. Please subscribe to our channel for more such content

Thankyou mam...to Raise This topic.. they are Scammer...not Trader ...Show Fake P/L to sell Courses & Brokerage services...

Good video
You are doing a Public service 👍
Amazing
very good video
superb
Thank you🙏
@sucheta dalal - Had it been in hindi, a lot more people could have been saved. See if any one is interested in doing a voluntary translation of the content in hindi. Thanks 🙏
This video categorically deserves more views.
thank you so much :-) do share and support and subscribe!!
great inside
You are right
With an apex body like SEBI at the top of the 'controllers' what else can you expect? SEBI itself needs to be investigated at best for negligence and at worst for fraud and complicity.
RBI is no better.
Then, there would be another superSEBI. It would again do the same.
Not just financial influencers, ethical responsibility lies even with celebrities and cricketers who promote products like paid fantasy sports which are afterall an extension of gambling being a game of 'chance'
Moneylife suchetaji , if can't make videos in hindi please atleast provide hindi subtitles, so it can reach masses throughout country.
all videos are insightful and truthful and tries to Awaken common person.
Many of these fin-influencers put a ticker on the screen saying "I am not a SEBI registered entity, contact your financial advisor/expert before investing or trading. Then there are also so called "SEBI registered influencers" who take trades in live market and tell us to join them and they will teach/guide us on how trading is done, especially intraday trades in F&O segment. Sucheta mam you have just scratched the surface here, the rot that has set in is much more. Mr. P. R. Sundar is the only one hauled in here, what about the rest of them. How does one distinguish from a genuine player to a fraudster?
True. There was news some days about two men whose property was attached in a small town in UP by IT dept for not paying taxes on multi Crore income. They had earned crores by advising people on ytube which share to buy.
I agree with your last line - only scratched the surface. But I do believe it is the regulator's job to do the work involved - they have the power and the resources and they are empowered by statute to do this work. So all the data has been turned over to the regulator! thank you
Rachana Ranade, Akshat Srivastava etc etc etc etc
This video should be trending
Mam pls have some. Videos on value investing
What about the biz channels Ma’am?
i read the hindu digital version and have seen so many dubious articles in their site which are highlighted. they put a very very small text saying it’s advert
Forget fin-fluencers! Talk about mainstream media which advertises all kinds of dubious things in spite of so many so-called regulations in place. When some influencers questioned "bourne-vite"'s problematic health indicators the so-called high institutions banned the influencer.
What-aboutery! They are at least compliant w.r.t advertising guidelines.
Vey good video
Moden genz Influencers are following the footsteps of actors, cricketers who promote tobacco/alcohol, gambling etc.
Excellent blog Madam. Am your big fan. Just a suggestion to further polish your blog. Camera should ve 4k. It should be focused on you instead of the background. Background should be more plain and should not shout more than you. Once again excellent content but these few things I thought of suggesting. Please do not misunderstand
Fin influencers, digital marketing companies has to be regulated. Even financial media also one sided.
Now it's very difficult to find out what is authentic news... free stock advices from financial online media also questionable. Misselling is common factor even from bigger institutions.
Something should also be done about those celebrities and influencers promoting stuff like Rummy circle and other such gambling elements.
No one is able to stop one of the world's Premier Sporting Charitable Organisations - BCCI, from taking Crores from 'Dream 11' to promote it.
Only way out is if all cricket lovers unite and stop watching BCCI events till they take corrective action.
@@arunpaul2587 yeah its sad that this is happening and people blindly worship the players who promote gambling. I haven't seen one bad advertisement by international players like Cristiano Ronaldo whereas here in India its like a gang of peddlers operating at the highest level. I'm not even considering the brainless actors of the industry who make kids superhero movies one side and promote gambling on the other because they are already one of the lowest forms of influential figures since 50 years.
Thanks for this video . But being an avid subscriber of finfluencer content I’m fully aware what they recommend cannot be held against them. All the necessary data needed to choose a stock in available in the public domain . One needs to do their homework.
The new age kids want to become millionaires before they turn 25.
These are the most easy targets of these "finfluencers'.
New one in this league is- Akshat Srivastav
Watching his videos was a fascinating window into groupthink, so many of his followers were there because they are enamored by his lifestyle. Middle class ethos, simple design, a difficult but plausible corpus of 5-10 Cr, semiretired lifestyle in a Goan township, small guy made it big story and "I no longer answer to anyone" persona.
100% agree with you. I have seen new car launches & drive reviews. You can see through the bias for certain brands. It is obvious that these brands must have bought out these so called reviewers.
Thank you, Madam for information.
I just want to share my point. I feel "Zero respect." kind of ethical behavior is across all fields and social zones that is flowing more with newer generations. this is consequence as there is no subject of "Ethics" all are trained for racing for higher financial stability.
Nope, never seen a hashtag for paid post so far.
Startup founder could be a certain Mr. War iku ...... Any guesses?
Was the startup founder Ankur Warikoo?
Amidst great advancement in technology & knowledge, the scamsters are also on the rise.
👍👍
Agree 100%
Educated class investors / social media who refuse to apply their brains...deserve to be made fool of themselves by following such dubious unethical Financial influencers.
Financial influencers shud forced to put disclaimer . disclosures for paid thigs.
Gov needs to enforce Rules strictly
I am new to this video. Is she the same sucheta dalal from scam 92 series?
Yes
Why haven't you disclosed the names of the finfluencers ?
Wouldn't naming them be the best example
Absolutely on the dot.
The stock market is one of the most volatile and uncertain market wherein the movement of prices depend upon several variables direct/indirect ; for a stock market investor its next to impossible to study all the 3000+ companies to make his investment decisions, the financial influencers make our job easy by focusing only on few certain scrips out of so many. Even when they are brazenly promoting a particular financial product/scrip etc they nowadays don’t forget to mention that they aren’t recommending anything and so it’s left to the sole discretion of the viewer to study and decide his investment decisions accordingly.
The difference between truth & hype is blurred and will remain so. They'll always be 1 step ahead of the law because they're just playing with words.
People promoting their starry eyed selves is among the oldest professions...Political parties are all the more happy to receive their endorsements for mindless people to vote for them...
Why can't regulations be such that any influencer who has charged money or any consideration for a post/ video should have paid promo symbol throughout the post
ad placement have taken a tectonic change.
now ads are not published as ads. It is included in the story line which goes with flow and the timing placement are such that it is consumed.
even with "Paid Promotion" which is default opt out now, it will make no change in the consumer psychology.
Better policy would be --> increase tax to make it not so lucrative, because its the reach that businesses capture, nobody gives a shit about who is speaking. Remeber, joker tanmay bhat was selling nfts, now selling AI and gives guidance on programming, stock investing etc.
What about big brands /names such as JP Morgan etc.
They also try to fool investors.
Not all fin-fluencers are bad.
Bad ones are:
P R Sundar
Akshat Shrivastav
and many more.
Good ones are:
Invest in India/ bharat
Stocks for self.
Basant maheshwari is honest but he won't tell you about myltibaggers..
Akshat is bad?
Have seen a few of his videos but I always thought that he gave VERY BASIC info.....maybe that is his way of trapping people to go in for his paid course.
You will come to how Akshat traps is when you watch many of his videos because he is very clever and cunning.

Manufacturing needs Inventories. Here what's the Inventory? It is presumed "Reputation" is Inventories. Idea itself is mystified. Any unit trying to go for marketing their Products requires creating Awareness of Products to be marketed. Awareness of Products profile assumes a mandatory step for marketing to targeted Customers. It can be treated as Manufacturing of Reputations. How do customers select their products is purely determined by Influences of their respective Products based Beneficial Behavior ie Benefits will make someone Buy Products only. If it comes to him/ her useless, can anyone influence the Buyers? No never. Advertising plays an essential Tools for Marketing to create Awareness of the products depending on Beneficial Economic Behaviour. Any Product of Renowned Manufacturing Units is also at risks if some substitutes of Quality Products are launched by the new Units. So, Manufacturing Units constantly watch Product's Paradigm or its Paralysis for survival of the Units for longer terms otherwise there will be Cost or Time Overrun, ringing to Death Knell.
I don't know if my perception matches with the Narratives you presented.

Q&a
How to 'handle 'files open tool hydel I looking files.
You should do a video on why "serious research" has lost weight in the eyes of common people.
Listen for entertainment & heed your own research. We have to be cautious where we put our money. Just because Tom cruise jumps out of a skyscraper in MI, none of us date to do it. Disclosures / disclaimers aren't taken seriously in India. Let's watch where our money goes, but business is business, we must be willing to take a risk.
Take only 'calculated risks'.
The influencer of the FIntech who post almost daily do not much credibility and are only making money from views and endorsements rather than any actual trading or investing. I am not calling anyone out but we should be careful of the ones who post quite frequently. How can anyone be well researched while posting so frequently.
NSE is private right
How is this different than advertisements on TV? Shah Rukh Khan promoting BYJU's ? Or Tendulkar promoting financial products ?
With great power comes great responsibility, having the kind of reach these finfluencers have IS power, the audience is largely gullible, the common sentiment is to take a chance rather than do self research. I think it is completely immoral of the finfluencers to recommend or promote high risk instruments such as crypto, derivatives no matter how well they perform. Who among the finfluencers is going to take accountability when the common man loses his hard earned money? any disclaimers are overshadowed by the excitable finfluencer's confident sounding presentations.
Having these finfluencers disclose their demats, and incomes, along with related parties, publicly same as mutual funds would be way to go. some precedence of vigilance with brokers and them would caution these finfluencers.
Ultimately, its us investors who need to discern and save us the suffering.
You might have noticed...most influencers say opposite to what happens in market...and they survive.. but people like PR sundar...big hurdle for SEBI...example...market is crashing...but every channel news, influencer etc...screaming bulll...& buy...
All expert coming on tv ,say we have not taken these share or our clients. Oh then why you recommend us.
earlier journalists from reputed publishing houses used to be influencers, now it just turned out to be twitter and other social influencers.
Today no business is is taking "reputation risk" seriously.
Rachana Ranade ? suspicious
If sebi dosent care about taking actions, it's on sebi. Fin infuencers are only in business because because sebi is chilled out when it comes to these matters
Bharath is going on a very dangerous trend. Spending without saving is not for Bharath. We have to understand that savings in the hallmark of strength for Bharatiyan. My assumption is at some point , there is going to be more pain for the poor and middle income groups and that will last for a very long time. The outcome of this will be more theft, where have not's will steal from have(who made money thru non dharmic means).
If we do correct analysis.tell the truth..and benefit the viewers...then people will stop losing money...this in turn will create less loss or less revenue for govt...so SEBI will come and kick us..saying why you do so....don't disturb the market flow..
Ashneer grover

@@mayankkumargiri1289 yes...

I believe 'popular' finance youtubers do God's work as they prey only on the greedy and spare the sensible realistic ones. So please cut them some slack. Most of the retail investors should stick to trying their luck at casinos. But I guess here they can shift the blame on some popular person instead of taking personal responsibility. 😉
